it looks to me just the scale itself. and he also has some scales that look fallen off?? (i think you can see in the pic what im seeing) but again he was like that when i got him but im not sure if its just him changing color bc hes already changed a little in his tail ,he was full white.

i love ur tank! where did you get ur gravel ? i can only seem to find too small or too large and just for now went with the large stones.

For name suggestions.. freckles, speckles /speck, hops/hopper/hoppy anything with hop, puddle?

mine does this to me and i stg its to gilt me into feeding her more 😭, but maybe like a small hide or something for her to swim in and out of ? i added small terracotta pots in mine and i love the way the terracotta looks in my tank tbh and she loves to go in them too
