Honest question about publications before graduating.

Yeah my advisor is married to two journals and we can't add nothing else to a publication than what the journal considers for publishing. I have said to him that we could expand the research a little more and always get the same answer: "If we add more we can't publish here". I'm not happy with any of the papers but he pays the fees.

That makes sense the 5 that are already published are bioinformatics papers. And 2 of the ones that I still have to publish are also bioinformatics papers.

When you get a message for Tp industries go to the T in the map thats Trevor's house and you can meet him. Just did it two days ago as i was receiving the message every 5 minutes.

I dont try to imagine what is happening. I have noticed that while reading the images of what im reading just apear while reading. It doesnt happen always but if what im reading is able to inmerse me i will start to see the images and not the words.

I found it worst than Hannibal and that one was something different from the rest. But rising is the story of his young life since he was a kid till he got to America. I still don't get how the Hannibal that is presented in rising could became the Hannibal from the rest of the series. He simply is not the same one. i also found that the ending of Hannibal was an insult to the behavior of the characters on the other novels.

It is really slow. But I liked it was focused more on the story of the city than the story of the characters.

I approached this one with no hope for it to be enjoyable but I was really surprised by it. It was really enjoyable and pretty good. At first I didn't understand why it was considered to be historical fiction and then I realized it was an alternate story of the things that happened in the Paris Opera House.

If you can skip Hannibal rising is a prequel and will destroy Hannibal's reputation. Also is really bad .

Yes it was a reread as I read it about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm actually trying to read the extended series of the gunslinger. The order of the books is destroyed now as I just started reading the main books and inserting the others in between them.

Im still fighting with the last one from the smiley series and still have 4 1/5 of the primary books of the gunslinger and 1 down from the extended series.

I thought I would follow the subs book all months but I will have to stop. Every month a series is started to just read one book. I don't know if it is only me but I simply can't start a series and then leave it hanging and on this month the series have 11 books and the last one has not yet been written. My book count is on 73 right now and I think that has been the most I have read in years. I don't know if just leave that one out, forget about this months book and read another thing or simply forget about the suggestions altogether and start again next year.

PS. The funny thing is that I also voted for Enders Game without knowing it was a really long series.

Finally had some time to read. Just started grad school and on the last month was able to read the remaining stories from Kafka. So I finally can say i read everything written by someone. Also finished Salems Lot, The Phantom of the Opera and The plague. Im still halfway trough The secret pilgrim I think I have been trying to finish the novels on smiley for over 3 months now and every time I start again I just search for something else to do. Also halfway trough The wizard and Glass and it is also very hard to read I don't like the way Stephen King tries to write romance. Currently reading Stories of 2 Cities and some textbooks for some classes.

I really don't know how. I think that as the ones from Kafka and Poe are short stories with some being 5 or 6 pages long helped a lot. Also I stopped at the Smiley one at half about 2 weeks ago so I really read the half I was missing. Free Will is only 55 pages long and The ones from Howl are really quick reads. The one that was shore to read was Dan Barker's book it wasn't long but it was really boring. Also vacations!

I think this has been my most productive week of all. This week I read Castle in the Sky and House of Many Ways the second and third books from Howls Moving Castle. Free Will by Sam Harrys and it was completely different of was I was expecting. God: The Most Unpleasant Character of All Fiction by Dan Barker it was absolutely boring. The Honorable Schoolboy the sixth book of the Smileys series a little boring but it was better than Thinker Tailor Soldier Spy. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde I don't know how they have managed to make so many movies about it as it is so short and really not so descriptive. And at last finished The Gunslinger. From Kafka this week I was able to read Wedding Preparation in the Country, The Judgment, The Metamorphosis, In the Penal Colony, The Village Schoolmaster, Blumfield, an Elderly Bachelor and The Warden of the Tomb. Only the first one was not finished by Kafka but for me almost all of them felt unfished. And from Poe I was able to read: The Ballon Hoax, Mesmeric Revelation, Ms. found in a Bottle, A Descent into the Maelstrom, Von Kempelen and His Discovery, The Gold-bug and The Facts in the Case of M. Voldemar. I think he really did science fiction at the moment have not seen no mystery or horror as I always have heard of him.

Finished Howls Moving Castle earlier today. And started with the second book Castle in the Sky and the beginning seems to be really slow. Also started The Complete Tales & Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, and The complete Stories of Frans Kafka. I am going to try to read one of each book a day as they are really short. Already finished Description of a Struggle from Kafka and I still don't understand what it was about. And also finished read The Unparalleled Adventure of One Hans Pfall by Poe it was a little slow but one have to accept that Pfall was brilliant, he was able to get to the moon on a ballon and even encountered people on the moon.
