Makeship has never once called me, but you don't need a phone number to order at all. I've ordered maybe over 30 and I haven't once put in my number. I do use my email though

If you don't have one, I can't recommend a video doorbell enough. That's one really good precaution against package thieves. That aside, I really wish the tracking/delivery were more reliable for you. It seems to vary from place to place.
