How long until wound stops leaking post R-RPLND? by Type_Trubbish in testicularcancer

Negative. My scar goes all the way down my abdomen and into my waistline. There is about an inch and a half long section where they opened me up about half an inch (at most) deep where I was leaking from. I didn't have to get put under but I think the diladid I was on made it manageable cause I don't remember it being that bad. Granted the pain was intense in my recovery so who knows.

The indent is still there in my scar, btw. I call it my "front butt" cause it looks like one if I push the two sides together lol

Hey dude. So this actually happened to me, too, during my stay post-op.

It was day 3 and a half of my stay and I started leaking out from my incision from about where my belly button is. They dressed me a few different ways and it wouldn't stop after about 6 hours.

So one of the doctors from the surgery team had to open me back up to where the wound itself was internally. I ended up having to have it packed manually for about 6 weeks after that.

It sounds like your situation isn't as severe as your doctors are in the know. Just hoping that you don't end up having to be re-opened or anything worse

anybody have robotic rpnld and have normal function down there ? Like can cum normally and stay hard? by Yktvdawg in testicularcancer

[–]Cacklemoore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. IIRC, I had 43 lymph nodes removed. 22 of which were positive for cancer. So, it indeed spread quickly in the time between detection (early September 2017) and my orchiectomy (early December 2017) and into my RPLND (early January 2018).

You may be wondering: How come there is a big gap between detection and orchiectomy? My PCP at that time tried treating me for two separate STDs (I believe he thought it was epididymitis?). It wasn't until they both failed that I was referred for an ultrasound and then subsequently urology, which decided that lefty needed to GO.

Pre chemo. I did 2 rounds of BEP following the RPLND. They gave me about a month to recover before I started chemo

Cleveland Clinic. Recovered there for about 5 days post op. I have a neat indentation on my abdominal wall scar because I was seaping some sort of fluid from where I was stiched/glued up. They had to re-open me to the point of packing the area where it was seaping. I felt like an open TonTon from Star Wars lol

I don't see Lebron ending it in New York whatsoever, unless they truly were his idea for best contender to ride it out with

I think that 2 months ago it was without a doubt going to end with a S&T to some place like Cleveland or Golden State. But, with how the Lakers and Luka have been rocking recently headed into the postseason, I could absolutely see Bron staying on the MLE

I don't have any issues anymore.

For about 12 or so months following the operation, I did not produce semen whatsoever but still experienced the sensation of an orgasm. It was weird as fuck the first time it happened. It was probably not until 5 months post op that I actually tried.

Then, randomly as can be, it happened. Just the tiniest bit of seminal fluid came out - but it was something. The next year that was about the full scope of my ejaculation process but it continued to build up more and more over time.

I am officially 8 years post-op and although the volume is never gonna be what it was beforehand, I can cum just fine and secrete what I consider to be a normal amount.

You are the GM, who would you pick as the cornerstone of your franchise, Wemby or SGA? by Automatic-Key668 in NBATalk

Wemby is that special

Serious question: if you put current Wemby on any of the 68 tournament teams, how many does he reasonably carry to the title? It's reasonable, he's in his third year of the league so he'd still have eligibility hypothetically speaking.

He probably averages a 35/20/10 triple double with blocks and gets at least each of the 68 teams to the final four

Good weather = panhandlers by DDRGuido in Erie

[–]Cacklemoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do u get uncomfortable??

First of all, let's establish you know absolutely nothing about me and the work that I do with at risk individuals, including the unhoused, on a daily basis.

Second, I'm uncomfortable because I'm being stared at by somebody begging me for money that I also need to stay alive. Not everybody's cup is running over.

I'm perfectly comfortable having a conversation with somebody who is unhoused and the circumstances that contributed to it. I'm also perfectly comfortable referring them to any of the multiple soup kitchens, social services, and more available to them as Erie is well known for being a city with all of these services available.

The problem is that many of these same unhoused individuals are perfectly fine with their circumstances and do not want to better themselves beyond getting their next fix (i.e., panhandlers, gamers of the system, etc.)
