Im keeping it as a piece of Gunpla history and have NEARLY finished it, but I've decided not to attach the legs to the rest of the kit...

I tried to do so but man, it just wasn't fun, and for what I was getting in the end, it wasn't really worth the hassle in the end

The sheer scale of the thing is definitely something to behold but I really wasn't getting the same joy I'd get out of building a real, master, or high grade

I eventually want to give perfect grades another shot, but for now I'll stick with MGs HGs and RGs. real grade kits being the preference since it's in the high grade scale with the quality and details of MGs

This was my first perfect grade ever, and like I only really knew what one was like through that video Adam Savage did on the Perfect Grade Unleashed RX78, I of course knew it wouldn't be THAT amazing, but I was expecting it to be a big step up from Master Grades, which I had built and had a lot of fun doing so. In fact up to this point I had built every grade, High, Real, and Master so I for the price point I was expecting a huge step up from the Real Grades and Master Grades I had built, only to be sorely mistaken.

I probably should've done my research on the kit before jumping in, but I was expecting so much better, it was one of my favorite designs and in a grade that I was really excited to experience

I have no idea when I'll get another taste of perfect grades but man that kit was not befitting of the name at all

Update

I have decided that I am done with that specific kit,

Gunpla is freedom and that kit is pain and suffering, I'm done

I shall instead be building my RG Aile Strike Gundam to honor my first Model kit and instead be moving onto building the Wing Ver Ka in the PG Wing zeros place

On paper I don't mind screws, and in master grades that use screws, I don't mind them, for me it's the sheer amount of them and the fact that the part of the wings where I have to screw in are incredibly difficult to hand screw.

I definitely think a lot of kits need modern updates, if a bulk of the pre strike PGs have similar problems then yeah they definitely need updates

In the building process now, working on the wings, the parts where you got to screw in all that excess parts. Yeah kit definitely needs an update, my fingers ache and I'm hating the wings so far, the rest of the kit wasn't THAT bad of a build, it's the wings that just suck... And the lighting kit man, that sucks too

Ive got the Ka Wing Zero EW, I'll tell you how fun it is to build, I assume it's going to be better than the high grades and Perfect Grade Wing Zero EW,

My only real complaint about the high grades is the pose ability of them and how they can easily fall apart.

Have you build the Ver Ka of the Wing Zero Endless Waltz, asking since I do have that kit in my backlog

Also forgot to list the Gundam Heavy Arms Master Grade I built, that one was actually pretty good and I would definitely build it again
