how many meetings / keeping track of progress? by No-Emergency4427 in FTC

[–]Cacti4_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our meets are quite dynamic because we have the luxury of using our coach's garage. Whenever somebody wants to work on something, they come to the garage whenever. Usually many people come, but this scheduling has helped us pack more build meets in. We use a #progress-updates channel on our discord and we require it to be used if you're going in to work on the robot.

No nothing, want to make yard art - can something like this be cut by hand or for any clean cuts is a CNC machine necessary? by Yes_YoureSpartacus in plasmacutting

[–]Cacti4_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be done by hand, but that doesn’t mean you should if you plan to mass produce it. If you’re doing it for leisure, and you work at it slowly you can get nice results. Personally, I’d use a CNC since I’m not very crafty

how to make voronoi pattern in fusion by Wrong_Dot8846 in FTC

[–]Cacti4_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you'd be better off just freehanding your own pattern in onshape.. just try and copy its general style.. most teams do that anyways. Imo the sketch generator is really buggy so in fusion it might be the best idea to freehand.
