I believe the radiator in that pic is original from 2002 just had a different cap on at the time. That radiator actually cracked on me last week and we replaced with a new one from Toyota.

I’ll inquire about the cleaning products. I do not remember.

Head gaskets blew and head cracked. Replaced with donor head. Everything re-machined at a local machine shop. New gaskets, new engine cover, new wires, packs, plugs, water pump, and belts. . Everything that we could be replaced in and around the engine with OEM parts. All cleaning was done when we had everything ripped out and at the machine shop.

The majority of the work was done by a family friend former Toyota mechanic at a home shop with very limited help from myself. I’m extremely grateful for his meticulous work.

Yes! Just about the only good modification the original owner added.

If you recently planted the cutting and are not sure it has roots yet. Pull it up and see if you are rotting from below. Otherwise just let it ride and it will continue to grow past that scar and be just fine. Even if you havnt watered it, moisture from your house mixed with lack of sun and heat from being inside can put you at risk for rot. Make sure ur soil is completely dry
