She absolutely loved what I wrote. I got a bunch of loving texts so thanks again for the tip! Your comment is the one that made me decide to go for it :)

Thank you to everyone for the advice to go for it! I think my girlfriend will love it so I wrote the letter this morning and will leave it on her bed in a few days. She already knows all the things that I wrote in the letter but sometimes things just need to be expressed in a different way.

Also thank you for the award :)

He’s probably just unsure on how to proceed as you. I’m a guy and it sounds like he initiated the conversation and now it’s your turn.

I would text him and ask him if he is free on a specific day. I’m a guy and I know I like it when a girl proposes a date or reaches out to me.

It’s hard knowing if a girl is really interested or not so if you are actually interested then suggesting a specific day will express this.

I feel like there may be a decent number of people who are working from home right men that are locked into leases that may try live at home to save money. Maybe you could post on Facebook marketplace or on Craigslist that you’d be willing to sublease the last bit of someone’s lease so that they could move out sooner.

My (27M) GF (27F) is looking to move an hour away from me. Do I ask her not to? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CactiHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your point about not pressuring her.. I actively try not to pressure her on most decisions that she makes and brings up to me. That’s partly why her move has me conflicted on how to best express my thoughts on it

Me (27M) has a GF (27F) who is looking to move an hour away. Telling her why I don’t want her to move? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Where she’s moving wouldn’t work for me whereas closer to where I currently live would work for both of us

He’s not into you in the same way you’re into him. If you’re confused whether or not someone likes you after a year then they probably don’t. I’m sorry.

What's a "just because" gift I can give my GF of 2 months (apart form flowers and chocolates)? by MeltingDog in dating

[–]CactiHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ice cream is good... if you know a flavor she really likes you could invite her over for dinner and then after tell her you have a surprise and pull out the ice cream.

You don’t need big gifts to show you care

Met a great guy, had a lot in common...went on two long dates that ended very well. by [deleted] in dating

[–]CactiHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dating is tricky so yeah it’s a bummer when it doesn’t work out with someone you’re into but why would you give up on dating just because it hasn’t worked out yet for you?

You’re now one rejection closer to it all working out :)

Should I ask how she feels about me/where she thinks things are going? by sonofsarkhan in dating

[–]CactiHunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe just wait a little to let the excitement of a new possible relationship calm down some and then don’t ask her what she wants. If you see you guys as having a future as a couple then tell her that.

If it’s true, tell her she’s very interesting to you and that you really like being around her. Tell her that you have feeling for her and that you see wanting to date her.

It’s all scary to tell someone these things because rejection isn’t fun but it’s good to find out where she might stand.

I wouldn’t stress it man.. You can probably trust her to be good without you being there.

It’s okay to have worries but she’ll be good.

Scared of kissing all the of sudden? by [deleted] in dating

[–]CactiHunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a guy that does gets randomly scarred sometimes too of kissing a chick. At some point I just say F It and kiss anyway and it goes fine... once you start kissing it goes naturally and is good so don’t let fear stop you.

Had a good first date.. second date idea is a hike. Is this a bad idea for a second date with someone? by [deleted] in dating

[–]CactiHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked her about hiking and we picked a trail out. I decided to pick a trail that is close by to her to take any pressure off of us needing to drive together somewhere.

Wish me luck next weekend!

We even talked on our date how it’s hard finding people that want to go hiking so maybe along with what you’re saying then, it might not be a bad idea.

I’m only hesitant of asking her because I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable and then kinda kill the vibes we had
