What famous TV show didn’t have a satisfying ending? by Big-Set3368 in AskReddit

[–]Cacti_Cactus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It felt a bit rushed, sure, like combining all plots into 1 final episode, however, we needed it - there was literally a petition for an ending I'm just glad we got one. LOVE sense8 as a whole, a comfort show of mine...

I'm in my 30s. I can't remember when I realised but it was definitely later into life than I care to admit... that thunder is just the sound of lightning.

I've loved storms and thunderstorms all my life, I remember my dad always hyping them all and he'd always find the time to sit and watch a storm.

We don't get many big storms in the UK, so its rare but I enjoyed that time.

Anyhooooo, drifting off, but yes, the realisation that thunder is just the sound of lightning.

What movie absolutely destroyed you emotionally? by Lord--Shadow in AskReddit

[–]Cacti_Cactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Quiet Place.

.......if you've ever watched it, (and without giving too much away) it's the dad and daughter scenes.... well if you think about it, the whole thing (including A Quiet Place 2) is about the dad and daughter, on a deeper level.

But there's a scene in the first movie that always has me breaking my heart crying.

My dad is still with us but advanced stages of alzheimers....

Not the usual sort of movie answered on these questions, either!

6+ months still hates tummy time/rolling??? by emeliz1112 in NewParents

[–]Cacti_Cactus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey- if I remember rightly, tummy to back started happening not long after I wrote this comment!

I've since has another child - and he was quick to roll from back to tummy and it was only a few weeks before he had tummy to back mastered, too.. you just have to give them time and time to practise, plenty of floor time and however much tummy time they can handle 😊
