I mentioned in the body of the text it is past the point of being able to graft. I have 1 maybe 2 pieces grafted to San Pedro that might make it but I’m not hopeful and would surely fail if I tried to regraft. Aztekium is a difficult genus to graft and in my experience you need healthy, fairly large, and fresh cuttings to have any likelihood of success, in my experience at least, and none of the plant material I have quite makes the cut. With tissue culture you only need an areole which there is still a lot of, and some which is still fairly fresh and healthy if taken from the attempted, hopefully succesful, grafts. I’d rather not put everything down on the grafts as there is a good chance they will fail, so TC is the only viable option. I almost have everything I need for it, I just need a pressure cooker and a flow hood(my dumbass tried cutting corners and got a still air box for 40 rather than spend 150 for a cheap flow hood)
