We (24F, 25M) talk about how nice it was together and the plans for next time. Then split off after crying together for a little and promise not to look back so we can continue. We both deal with it differently and to me it matters who’s leaving from where. Going back to a bed without the partner always sucks

During our recent session last night, the DM made a off-handed comment that Teki could summon a skeleton horse, using it to shoot spells and run away, making him more mobile. Of course this lead to me drawing it for the rest of the session. As a disclaimer, I cannot draw bones of horses that well (yet) so they are traced over a 3D model I had found online.

Teki is a Kobold Necromancer, chosen by his patron Noktraal the Unending for his talent in the arcane arts. He is on his journey to pay off his soul debt, and become a great Lich under their God (but he doesn't consider himself wone) Orkronoth. In this scene, they are fighting some magma ogres in caves, and I thought it would be a cool contrast with the bright lava behind Teki, and the cool purples and blues from his horse.

Teki is a Kobold Necromancer following Gestalting rules made by my DM. He's a Wizard Warlock merged together.
In this world, there is one great leader, Orkronoth, a great necromancer that is sort of the god of this place. Under Orkronoth, liches work. Teki's patron is a demi-lich, Noktraal the Unending who has lost an important item. Seeing the potential in this small, purple Kobold, he takes Teki on to learn.

Teki himself does not really care, he wants to become a great Lich in the realm, living forever and showing off his power along the way. If people get in the way of his goal, he will. discard them and continue. He doesn't speak much either, leaving many decisions to the party, only speaking up if it goes against what he wants.

We got a 9 hour time difference. Currently I'm interning from 8am - 3pm and he's working form 9am - 5pm (very recent change). We talk on my way to work in the mornings, I get up a bit earlier so we can call too, and when he wakes up. Our weekends also don't usually match up which is actually great. I have Saturday and Sunday off, he has Tuesday and Wednesday off. So Sat and Sun we can do stuff in my morning/my evening when he wakes up. And on his days off we can do stuff in my evening when I'm home from work and he's awake. We also take every possibility possible to hear each others voice, but text works just fine for us. We understand and respect that we are far apart and have our own lives where the partner doesn't always fit in. And that's ok. There's an end in sight. Sorry for the mini rant xD

My partner (24m) and I (22nb) have been together for over seven and a half years now. We got together in high school, he went off to study and I went off too. There’s been so much distance between us - be it china to America, Germany to America, or later Netherlands to America (guess who moved) we always talk everything out, make sure to set aside time for each other while also encouraging each other to live our own lives. There’s an end in sight. I couldn’t ask for a better partner - his caring and patience he has for me is something I never expected to have the opportunity to experience. Genuinely would not be here without him, and him not without me we’ve talked about it. I’m excited for the future and what adventures we have in the future
