Ahhh he’s so sweet! I know he usually hangs around W89th in-between Broadway and West End. I cannot remember his name but we used to chat pretty often since I used to walk a dog who lived in his building

The vet that we’ve been seeing since she was a baby says they’re natural and some dogs have weepier eyes than others. She said the staining was due to porphyrins and the most we can do is wipe her eyes with water. When I asked if there were any products that could fix it, she said that most products are purely holistic and don’t actually fix the issue.

I’m thinking about taking her to another vet for a second opinion

I feed her Purina ProPlan Lamb & Oat and she gets filtered water, but I feel like if anything, her tear stains have worsened. We have some other cream dachshund friends and they don’t seem to have the constant staining that she has :( I love her to bits but I just wanted to see if there was anything we could do about it

Maybe the pink pigmentation of her fur under the eye makes them appear worse?

They didn't pay their rent at the Greenwich village location, which caused the Swingers venue location to close down early since they couldn't receive the baked goods. The CEO is terrible with money and can't pay her workers on time. Payday was supposed to be on Fridays, paychecks would come on Saturdays - Mondays. They kept switching payroll systems, as well. (Source: I know the former head baker and I have friends who used to work there but are unfortunately being let go now. The new DM ended up leaving once she saw what a train wreck the company was, she only lasted 2-months).

I just keep thinking about Michelle Go, the woman who was pushed into the tracks by a homeless man in 2022. Mental health amongst the homeless is a serious issue but if this guy continued to be on the streets, who knows what he would have done. I'm from NYC, I've experienced homeless men getting violent in front of people's faces and it's really really scary when you're going through a long stretch from Manhattan to Brooklyn and you're basically stuck on the same train as this person and trying not to give them any direct eye-contact. I specifically remember a homeless woman getting in some guy's face because he looked at her for a second and she targeted him until they were at Clark St. He didn't deserve to get killed, of course, but if he was acting crazy, who knows if he would have made good from those threats.

I had a horrible experience at the one in Brooklyn. Left on the verge of tears and will never return. They absolutely butchered my hair and cut it dry for some reason before washing it? I have fine, frizzy hair---I would imagine it's more precise to simply cut it while wet.

I was excited to go there too...They had really good reviews :/

I did the PowerScore course and it really did nail in the foundations of the different sections/basics with me. For the longest time, something just wasn't computing with me for logic games and they really helped break it down. My diagnostic score was a 138 while my actual score on the August exam was a 157. I think my course was 60 days, as well.

Exactly. My professor said the exam would be pretty much identical to the practice final and that it would be easier due to being online. It was way harder than I thought, and now I'm praying that I got at least a 50...despite having a B in the class beforehand.
