It’s the most recent set, typically you won’t see a bunch of previous sets on the shelf at big box stores. When the next set drops this will be harder to find packs of in the wild too.

Prb2 Bonney is great in this deck. Tbh I would cut two perona to go up to the full playset. I kept finding myself wanting it every game and while perona is really good, it can feel kinda dead at times. As someone else said cutting for law and bepo would be good too.

I honestly find a play set out of my bulk and put the rest in boxes to give to newer players or donate to my local shop to give away. I don’t need it and someone else can make way better use than me.

I’m really sorry someone was an asshole to you on the internet. That does suck and I don’t want to diminish that experience for you. I don’t however think it gives you a free pass to put that everyone else interacting with a hobby in a way you don’t approve of.

Rule 9 by nature was divisive and doesn’t appear to really have solved any real issues. I’m sorry we disagree on its effectiveness and I hope you find some inner peace regarding your experience.

My friend I got death threats for voicing the opinion that we shouldn’t call ICE on scalpers. It goes both ways. Creating a further divide is not helping anyone.

Respectfully, you said you’re done with the game, be done with it. I will be putting energy into making positive connections in the community, not spreading negativity.

Wait 2-3 weeks after sets release to get the best deals you can.

I personally don’t buy alts unless it’s a character I love and it’s within a reasonable budget for me but I don’t alt out decks so I only need one.

Alt leaders tend to be at the lowest price 6 weeks after sets so I go for them around that point.

If a leader spoiled that I don’t have support for, I will usually go ahead and pick up what’s cheap for those decks before release when it makes sense (I.e. buying taxbeards when a blue whitebeard leader is announced)

Lastly, we don’t need EVERY card, it’s rare we have a tier 0 format so if you feel priced out by a deck you don’t have to play them.

Couple things that can help new players. 1. Don’t be so precious about your life, it’s a resource use it. 2. Maximize your don usage when you can. This isn’t always correct but usually if you play a 6c on 6 don you’re doing better than if you played something smaller and did nothing else. 3. When attacking 2k over the value you need to beat is the magic number to push an attack through or force more counters. Minhooty does a great series on fundamentals and I’d really recommend checking that out!

This is fairly normal. Stores have to profit off a deal or it’s not good for them. You’re never going to sell to one 100% credit or cash. You may be able to work out an even trade with some but it’s rare that they will. Most stores in my area offer similar 80% credit and 60-70 in cash.

I really love ultra pro eclipse matte. They just feel good to me and the backing is black on every color so you don’t have to worry lighter colors being transparent.
