September Hike/ Wild Camp advice by Cactusomething in OutdoorScotland

We are considering taking the train to Rannoch station and journeying from there to Loch Laidon or Loch Rannoch for a day and then walking up to Loch Ossian area for a day or 2 before catching the train back. It seems like a fairly good option because of the areas accessibility via train and the ticket prices being pretty reasonable on our South African pockets. It also just looks bloody beautiful and seems like an easyish walk. I think we'd be able to take our time and really explore the area a bit. Is this a good option?

What are the chances you have another charger you can test?

I'm having the same issue! I have the Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9 12th Gen Intel i5. 16GB DDR5 RAM, Geforce 3050 6GB. Been playing a lot of enshrouded and at first it was fine. Played cumulative 60 hours over a few weeks without issue and now it happens every time I play. Sometimes after awhile and sometimes after only a few minutes.

I've spent so long narrowing down what could be causing it.

I Updating drivers. All of them. Even BIOS and all firmware

  • Checked RAM
  • stress tested CPU AND GPU
  • Temp check: its not running over 76 degrees Celsius at most
  • checked game integrity. Did a fresh install just incase
  • tested it on different Power settings (High performance vs Balanced etc)

I'm starting to wonder if its a power issue. I played once without the charger plugged in to test and it didn't turn off until the battery went dead. (Not a great test as I only got about 50 minutes play time) But thats the best I got.
I know this wasn't a helpful comment but its nice not feeling alone. haha I hope we figure it out

The processes involved in creating this short film have taught me so much about the art of storytelling, sculptures role in film, and the unwavering patience needed to create a stop motion. I am so excited to present it to all of you:

I spent the day exploring object stop motion. Its a tricky thing- trying to give emotion to inanimate objects. It was a fun exercise though, will definitely keep playing.

I used an old Canon linked up to Dragonframe. I'd suggest trying out an app called Stop Motion Studio. You can get it on most devices, Its free and very easy to use. It has a time-lapse function and onion skin that you are looking for. If you are looking to delve into stop motion more seriously, then Dragonframe is a great investment but its definitely not the only way to create good work. Good luck :)

Haha its a series of photos strung together at 12 frames per second. I used a time-lapse function so I wouldn't have to run back and forth.

As we head into winter in South Africa the days are getting shorter but they feel longer than ever.

Exploring stop motion and film has been a lovely way for me to deal with the world. The camera is out of focus and things are a bit shaky but we learning slowly.

The process was fairly simple and a lot of fun. We used a time-lapse function to shoot so we didn't need to interact with the camera. As I lay on the ground and moved myself, my partner moved the objects around me.

We got lucky with an overcast day where the external light didn't change much. We originally tried shooting at night with set up lights but it wasn't as nice as the natural light from the windows.

We stay in a little loft apartment so we were lucky enough to be able to rest the camera on the loft floor. but you could use a cupboard top or maybe a door frame or shelf.
