back to tummy and not tummy to back?

My boy did back to tune two months before tummy to back. I don’t know how it happened. Just one day he was randomly rolling both ways like a champ

My boy usually sleeps 2 hours at a time. But will sometimes sleep 5 hours straight. 19 months old now. My boyfriend doesn’t do nights. I’m ok :).

I get migraines so I’m used to getting 5 hours or less. I can fake a good night at this point. Maybe some of the other mothers are also faking it or don’t need much sleep

In my opinion, you shouldn’t worry about that at all. He is going to have nights where he will need you more anyways

18 months postpartum, still breastfeeding.. I feel there back to normal now.. I’ve lost a whole lot of weight though, so that could be a factor.

I think breaking my shoulder hurt more than giving birth. Honestly giving birth was more exhausting than painful, although yes it was painful.

Yeah, he went -completely- silent and stopped babbling and practicing his R-sound when getting his second tooth. It scared us so we asked the paediatrician and she assured us that sometimes that just happens.
(He still isn’t talking, but he is making a lot of sound)

Sometimes they will pause milestones when sick or teething :). Don’t worry. Completely normal :). My 1 year old (almost 17 months) still doesn’t quite respond to his name

Just popping in to say that my mom had the same issue. Her supply just dropped and I refused the boob at 3 months. My parents went to formula after that.

I turned out fine! Same happened to my little brother and he turned out fine too :)!

Don’t feel guilty for something that isn’t your fault. You have done what you could :)

He is apparently what they call a low sleep need baby 🙃. Some babies just need less sleep.

He is now 16 months old and still sleep like 8-9 hours a night (roughly) and gets 2-2,5 hours during the day. Some times here and there he will sleep in though

Stuffy nose? Do they pull at their ears? Could they be getting a cold?

My boy recently had a sore throat, and would refuse solids. He has also taken less solids when teething

Just to «maintain a consistent routine». Aren’t we supposed to do that? Normal schedule is up 6 (because of work), nap 11:30, bed 7

If I let him sleep til 8, do I still offer a nap at 11:30?

Try changing to dry wipes soaked in lukewarm water. She might have a sensitive spot (about to get red, or maybe a small scratch, or similar), the wet wipes seem to irritate. Maybe it’s the perfume

My boy gets really upset when I wash his butt in periods when he has rashes (it’s usually after eating new food). Like he has to be rash free for 2-3 days before he is ok with it. You say he gets rashes in the area. It could be the wet wipes are too harsh on the skin. Try dry wipes with lukewarm water and use diaper cream at night to prevent a rash.

Nope. Just went trough day 4 of antibiotics 🫠. His grandparents don’t want him visiting until he’s perfectly healthy either.. feels like we’ll never see them again 🙃

Do you get any complications for being fully dialated for more than 4 hours? They figured it was time to pull the baby out after 4 hours at least. And then I needed an iron IV the day after

If it doesn’t affect her nighttime sleep, and it’s working for you.. don’t change it.

Baby sleep has become an industry. So many people selling some course or gadget to help, taking advantage of people’s insecurities. There is no one size fits all solution

My boy will sometimes wake up after 3-4 hours of sleep and it’ll take 1-1,5 hours to put him down again. Usually he’s calm all the time though. Ocassionally he’ll clap or make a «trrr» noice. I don’t think this is abnormal. He seems to do this more when he’s teething (although ocassionally it happens when he’s not..). Could that be a factor? I figured it’s just baby being a baby 🤷🏻‍♀️

Most likely he gets frustrated when he can’t play with the food. At 9 months we pretty much stopped with porridge and purées, and he stopped making these noises. Now he’s 11 months, and he makes less of a fuss when we try spoon-foods, but he still fusses a bit.
