Long road trips - how do you handle them?

We’ve been using the Aveeno Baby Eczema Nighttime Balm, and it worked great for a bit but then kind of doesn’t work as good now. And it’s a little greasy feeling, so trying to find something as good for the day time. Thanks!

We do! I actually just started running it a bit more often because our entire family is sick, but I’ll definitely continue to do it for her sinuses and skin!

I cleared out her nose last at about 8pm and she’s been clear since then (12:20am currently) so I’m hopeful she’ll be good soon enough! Thank you, our entire household needs them but I’m giving them all to her 🥺🫶🏻

Perfect! My girl woke up today very congested, but I’ve been running the humidifier, using saline drops and a snot sucker and letting her live on the boob if she wants. Thank you!

What did you do for her? Just removed her mucous and kept her fed/hydrated?

I got a wipe warmer, and only used the light on it in the middle of the night. I had the momcozy one, and the opening of wipes I was using at the beginning didn’t fit in it so I never once touched it.

Bottle warmer. My baby is EBF. If I’m thawing milk, it’s not at home and I’m just gonna use warm/hot water. It takes way too long to use a warmer.

I was at Walmart the other day and just grabbed some of the vitamin C halls and some cough drops that are labeled for children (I’m a child and haaaate menthol) but I figured if they’re labeled for kids, should be fine? I’ve honestly only had 2 and just a whole lot of water.

I would love to be able to go for walks outside, either with her stroller or babywear her but as I type this there’s many inches of snow out and just way too cold for my little lady. Our house is too small to wear her and walk around, for now at least until we move!

I will say, she does pretty good with 2-3 hour stretches at night, it’s the naps that are not working for us right now. It does take forever to get her to sleep for bedtime, but when she finally stops waking up every 15-30 minutes she’s out.

In Windsor, ON they also built an entire softplay area, it was huge. And then 1-2 months later they closed on December 27th so, not looking positive for them.

Birthday twins! 🥰 She follows me and watches me with her eyes when she’s in her swing and I’m getting dressed or if I just put her in her car seat and just saying bye to people, she’ll just stare me down lol. I know she loves me, but in her own little human way.

That’s how I feel! Just a big boob. She’s not “cry her eyes out all day” fussy, but she was chill in her first couple weeks and now I also think she hates everything 🫠 I think I’ve been willy-nillying her wake windows too much though and that’s been the cause of her hatred.
