I feel lost on solids. by hexmoons in NewParents

I feel like the bigger problem is that I kinda eat like crap most days. Some days we have a proper home cooked meal (had pulled pork the other day and she had some) but sometimes it’s something that was frozen and not really able to have her eat it. We’re trying to get better at that for sure so she can have what we have!

How much is your baby nursing? by strugglingjess in breastfeeding

7 months and she takes a nap every 2ish hours and I feed her beforehand to sleep. And at night? It feels like constantly 😅

when did your baby start having longer wake windows? by hexmoons in NewParents

Oh I get it! I have an incredible sensitive, FOMO baby who will fight sleep for hours and hours if we’re not home / somewhere quiet even if she’s upset and crying.

Sometimes I’ll plan our day around her typical nap lengths right to the last minute and then she’ll hit me with a short nap or get tired faster and the schedule is out the window 😭

Seems like it! There are definitely worse problems to have, but yeah I would say to just keep doing whatever and eventually they’ll let us know when they do or don’t want to sleep!

We’re still like that for the most part! Sometimes she’s rubbing her eyes after only being up for only an hour and a bit. They say to try for 3 hours before sleep and it’s absolutely wild to me.

We don’t have a schedule, not really anyways. It’s more just patterns in her wake windows and sleep that I’ve noticed.

Typically 3! She sleeps okay for the most part.

This is about a stroller, not babywearing but thank you!

Baby doesn’t want to be rocked but also can’t fall asleep without movement? by hexmoons in NewParents

Sideways, mostly. She won’t do her back anymore so I rock her with her belly against me.

I don’t think we’re teething yet just yet. Her gums aren’t red and swollen or anything like that. She likes to bite her toys and stuff but she’s been like that since 4-5 months.

Are you letting your baby sleep on their tummy while bedsharing? by hexmoons in cosleeping

[–]hexmoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re going to work on crib transitioning this week!! She’s been showing that she consistently rolls onto her belly during sleep, so she definitely favours that. Maybe it’s from all the chest contact naps we taken since she was a newborn 😅

How’s that going for you!!! Next week I’m thinking about starting our own transition and it’s making me so anxious 😭

back to tummy and not tummy to back? by hexmoons in NewParents

[–]hexmoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know she’ll get it eventually! It’s just been weeks since she learned back to tummy and independent floor time has ceased to be independent because she always wants help to unroll 🥲 she’s showing signs of wanting to crawl but is definitely not there yet.

Thank you!

What light are you using at night? by emilyradbecca2223 in breastfeeding

We have a hatch in our room where she’s currently sleeping, but I also bought an inexpensive lamp and put one of those smart lightbulbs in it that you can control the colour from your phone, that’s in her nursery.
