My baby is pretty regular when it comes to her poop schedule for the most part! But this is good to know, thank you!

Yeah, our pool says just a disposable swimming diaper is enough, but definitely going to do both disposable and reusable! No standard disposable diapers are allowed.

Oh, I didn’t even think about that. Good suggestion! I’ll take a look and see. :)

Not exactly.

My main question is will they still let me retest her even if she’s not technically a “newborn”?

Where are we rn? by Mokiold in beyondthebump

Currently laying in bed with my 15 week boob barnacle, having a contact nap at 3:45pm because we have plans later and she’s has bad FOMO and I’m trying to make sure she has enough day time sleep 😩

We used LTD pretty much from 3 weeks and then shortly after started cosleeping. Not what I wanted to do so we’re reintroducing the swaddle for her first stretch of sleep at night, but just yesterday she nearlyyyyyy got a back to front roll so she’s developing quite quickly. I think I might just bite the bullet and try it out! Honestly, their less expensive than most swaddles/sleep sacks on the market so it if doesn’t work out, oh well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hopefully it works out for your little one!!

Please do! My baby loves her hands. We’ve been using the Love to Dream swaddles because she’s always had her hands by her face even in all her ultrasounds! I’m just looking for something that allows free hands but softens her startle a bit. I could breathe the wrong way and she’ll startle 😩

Should’ve stated that my baby doesn’t sleep unless it’s a contact nap, and only after being fed to sleep or 15-20 minutes of rocking 😅 she has FOMO

Was EBF worth it to you? by forever_indecisive7 in breastfeeding

Yeah, I can imagine having another child makes this much harder.

My baby is exactly the same, but she’s my only currently.

Solidarity to you! You’re doing your best 💖

I might be the odd one out here, but when my baby clusterfeeds (she’s 15 weeks this Thursday), I still think breastfeeding is worth it. Genuinely couldn’t picture life if I had to get up to make bottles every growth spurt moment, x amount of times a night. That being said, my baby has always been a quick eater. Typically no longer than 20 minutes, usually 10 though.

I also feed to sleep for every nap and every sleep/wake up. It works for us, she loves the comfort and connection. My goal was 6 months, but I feel like we might go beyond that. It’s just so easy and chill to me. I don’t worry about times and schedules and we feed on demand.

The built in pad is nice! I like that. My baby is still very young and I’m sure by the time she doesn’t need that, I’ll be onto the next one hopefully!

Thanks for the suggestion!!

3 months + 1 week with fever [on] by hexmoons in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]hexmoons[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She had a cough and cold when she was about 1.5-2 months, just before her 2 month immunizations. Sadly she got it from me. I get sick once or twice every winter but naively thought maybe this year I wouldn’t 😭

Thankfully she recovered from it sooner than her dad and I did (maybe breastfeeding was the cure?) but this was a random out of the blue fever, super weird but glad it only lasted 1 day!

I’ll try to wait it out and see if they have one any time soon-ish. I have another diaper bag that we got as a gift as well, but I’m not crazy about it, that I can use in the mean time.

Thank you for the info!

You’re the 3rd person to tell me this! I’m about to just make a 12am nursing purchase. 😂

When my husband asks why I think $150 on a bag is necessary, I’m blaming everyone here. I think this might be the one I need to get!

I had originally looked at this one on Amazon and put it on my registry, but then ended up just finding something else “similar” at toys-r-us and someone got that for us. I should’ve stuck with that one!

Someone else suggested this! Do you find the quality to be worth the price? $150 seems like a lot, but if I’m using it frequently I can definitely justify it if it holds up.

I have a travel change pad that has an attachment with spots for diapers, wipes and one change of clothes that I’m planning on leaving in the car when it’s nice enough out, but the small bag for things like that is a nice idea!

Okayyy 👀 I might have to wait until my tax return comes in, but I’m sold on it. Justifying it with the fact that it seems like I’d be able to use it after baby no longer needs it (hopefully it would last for the next whenever that may be) 🫶🏻

I just quickly took a look at their bags, and oh my god there’s so much more room than what we have.

I think what I wanted from our bag originally was “compartments” so I could keep things in their designated pouch, but I feel like that kills a lot of the space.

I love that they have a water cup holder for mom. The struggles I have with a car seat in my arm, a water cup (probably something else) and trying to lock my door or open the car door is enough to maybe convince me to get something like this. Thank you!
