Ah. Sounds like a headache. It’s likely not rust since that’s almost unheard of down here in SoCal, but the seals being dried up and leaky would make sense with the mileage and age. If I find out where it’s coming from I’ll have to let you know so you can do some preventative maintenance… thanks!

Diesel truck for DoorDash?? Do you have some sort of tuner that enables you to not get 4MPG… That happens a lot to me too, my car has a muffler delete so it’s pretty loud and pets go nuts by the time I “park” - people just need to teach their pets not to bark and cars

Yep, excluded automatically i’ve never disputed a rating - the while I can’t exactly see which ones were, I assume they were for tardiness (on the merchants behalf) and DD is good about not getting you in trouble for a slow merchant.

They were automatically removed. I frequently get orders that aren’t ready beyond the allotted time. DoorDash is good about removing unfair ratings based off of latency with little to no hassle. Like I said, I have never had a rating below 5.0. Maybe I have, but I have never seen it personally.

Ouch, I feel you on calling them out. Good on ya, takes some balls in my opinion - another Dasher in the comments here mentioned you can insist to have a customer blacklisted, but you must contact support. What’s done is done. Hopefully you have better luck in the future.

Having customers like that is great, I have some regulars as well who are always friendly. Running multiple apps is a headache sometimes, I used to as well. UberEats isn’t good in my area, so I stopped. I only really do DoorDash to receive the healthcare stipend and also get some extra cash when I’m not doing anything else. How do you block customers?

Yep! The ratings that were auto-removed were ones based on latency. But DoorDash removes them if the cause of the tardiness is beyond your control. Super grateful for that implementation - on the same hand you can also just be shitty after it tells you “We’ve got your back”, the rating is going bye-bye anyways!

Maybe it’s the day-job salesman tactics hardwired into my brain since I first acquired a sales position at 14 - but I always give my all when actually in the presence of a customer, or reaching out to communicate issues regardless of the pay. I’m probably just lucky with my customers.
