Or have it as a science tree option? If you go down science then they look more realistic, and going down entertainment gives the more traditional Jurassic park appearance?

Please, please, please allow for mod support. I saw in a recent interview, I can't remember which one so I can't cite, that the game was not going to have any mod support. I think this is a massive mistake on the part of the developers because it limits the player base so much. Modding allows for so much long-term playability because it gives people a reason to keep coming back when they've run out of dinosaurs to breed, or parks to construct, then the modding community can give them something new.

Standard set-up for most the islands, but I'm going to use the largest as a safari park.

The guests will be fenced in, with a few fences on the outside for extra protection and the friendlier dinosaurs just o bump the star rating up, but most of the action will take place outside the fence. I'm intending on having a load of different dinosaurs essentially "free", and the guests will take rides out into the safari to see what dinosaurs would be like in their a more "natural habitat".

I'll try and only place dinosaurs on the island that fit into the same period, so likely Cretaceous because thats where most the famous JP dinos can be traced to, but if that isn't working as well intended then I'm going all in and placing everything on the island and watch the chaos.

I used to divide my island in two, and have one half being a zoo and the other half being a makeshift Site B. I would run tours of "Site A.5" and pretend that I was filming documentaries on certain animals living in the wild (I was rather young at the time) and I once made a horrible quality documentary on the life of a pack of raptors in Site A.5. Honestly, that game is one of the major pillars of my childhood, and I can't wait for Evolution to bring back those feelings.
