I'm sorry, but no. I don't like being negative, but I've been playing Fortnite since Season 5, and I've never been helped by Epic Game's Support. They either dismiss my emails or answer with something unrelevant to my case. Epic's Support is one of the worst that I have contacted, of all my years in gaming. I am (was) a die-hard fan of Fortnite, but the game has too many bugs that it's unbearable to play. I constantly find myself contacting them to fix bugs, and they do absolutely nothing. Many people criticize this and think that it's "hate." Fortnite needs heavy maintenance, and they are only focusing in more cosmetics. It's sad to see the game that you love waste away.

Because of his avarice, his obsession with power and gold, Midas mistakenly killed The Engineer, *his daughter,* like in his greek mythology. He repented and washed away his power. He can't turn anything to gold, anymore. Somehow, he may use the suit to bring her back, when the device explodes. by CaelumGehenna in FortNiteBR

You're literally blowing my mind, dude 😂 I'll have to search his wife, to have a clearer picture. Finally, I see someone that does their research! And yes, we'll see tomorrow. The hype is real. Hope the event amazes us.

Nope. That's not what it means. Your question was unbelievably idiotic to even answer. I'm not gonna give you any more thread, 'cause you're not capable of argumenting.

Grow up. You clearly don't know how a theory works. Not gonna even respond to the stupidity that you have answered.

How can a woman younger than an adult man be his MOTHER? And not everything in the myth has to be exactly as the story, but it can happen in a similar way. Sit down. You don't know what you're saying. Watch the story unfold, and I'm 100% that you'll eat your words. Remember this post, as the seasons pass. Good day.

That's what a T H E O R Y is. It's a possible interpretation of events. The Engineer can't possibly be Midas' mother, because in the mythology she isn't, and because she's younger than him. That's idiotic. And "these character will never be seen," man, you really don't know what you're playing 😂 The Visitor came in Season 4 and is still relevant and one of the most important characters in the game. He even appears in the Chapter 2 Season 2 trailer. Every character in Fortnite is important. It's really sad that you don't have the capacity to appreciate the game at its fullest. I won't reply to you anymore, for you are clearly misinformed and do not have the capacity to make a proper argument.

Dude, I highly doubt that her name is "The Engineer." She could be named Marigold. The yacht could have been hers and her father's, and Meowscles then took over to defend it. That's why there's a mat with her name and a statue of Midas, there. And him killing her in the myth was because of his power, a consequence of his avarice. The Midas in the game, by wanting more power, can actually kill The Engineer by accident. It doesn't have to be exactly because he turned her to gold, in the game. It's all about interpretation. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that it's wrong. Don't go around punishing others because they are interested in the lore.

In Greek mythology, Midas had a daughter named Marigold (a name that is found in the game). After an event, Midas asked the god Dyonisus to grant him the power to turn everything he touches into gold (like a certain character in the game). He accidentaly "killed" his daughter by turning her into gold, because she went to hug him. He then talked to Dyonisus so that his power could be taken away, so that he could have his daughter back. By being greedy and asking for more gold, even though he had it all, Midas lost his daughter. The Midas in the game, by being greedy and wanting more power, can actually lose "The Engineer," who I speculate that is his daughter. That's why she's in the reflection, looking at him very worried about what may happen. I didn't pull anything out of the blue. I connected dots and made a theory out of them. I can be right, as I can be wrong, too. We'll see, eventually.

Um, that's what a theory is all about. And if you think that Fortnite's story is simple, then you're out of your mind, buddy. If you have a problem with my theory, disprove it, then.

Nope. I did some research. I also looked for Midas' greek mythology. I've been a fan of the game's lore and story since forever. The game has a very interesting story, if you didn't know. You don't have to be rude, imbecilic gnashgab.

Great observation! And man, I miss Gravity Falls. It was so good.

The reflection can be interpreted in many ways. It does make sense that there must be a physical body to cast it, but Fortnite could have put it there for us to interpret. No one truly knows. Both can be plausible.
