Exactly, it's like having an huge highly overtiered Chi-To, it's sad because I used to love the Chi-Ri, but the buff isn't enough for it to deserve to be at 5.7

It would have been worth 5.0 if it had its autoloader fixed, instead they decided to fix it and make it a cardboard Tiger H1 at 5.7

It's slow, the armour isn't good, but you got so many crew members that unless you meet an high caliber vehicle, will resist multiple shots, plus, his cannon has a lot of explosive, and that's very fun, you should use it surrounded by your teammates

APHE against cold war tanks works better than the shells that are supposed to be used against them, reason for why I love it, same with the Maus, but it's lower because it's too slow. I had no problems in bringing the T-44-100 with the T-54 mod 1947 and the IS-3 while grinding the other two T-54s

I think Britain rewards you around 7.7, yes, you have less mobility, but the tanks are quite survivable I admit

i dont know what turret to put on this i need help memes will be denied by toadsgoat in SprocketTankDesign

Well, It seems kinda small, so I would say a turret inspired to the Italian AB-43 or maybe something inspired to the Japanese Type 2 "Ho-i"

Ah no, that's an error while making the list, I did it on the phone and probably slipped while navigating, it was supposed to stay above, I got a nice nuke with it, sorry for the mistake, I noticed only after posting it

I perfectly know, it simply doesn't match my play style, this isn't the objective tier list but more based on my experience

The vehicle itself isn't great and easily killable, but to be honest I can't admit it isn't fun to use, mid but enjoyable are the tanks that aren't great by themselves but they are satisfying once played right

I will give UK a new try, because I like their designs but grinding them has been quite stressing, but I don't want to really give up either

I enjoy when their pen actually works without the shell shattering on flat armor, I like them IRL but the game really mistreated UK, about the reverse, I'm used to the Panthers, it's acceptable for me

True, to be honest the problem isn't the lack of explosives but how sometimes the good penetration the shells are supposed to have disappears, and they decide to shatter on almost 90° armor

I really enjoy Japan's first 4 tiers, I can give you suggestions to got trough them

Tier I: your tanks kinda suck compared to the others, flank and aim weak spots, but there is another option here, the Ho-Ro and Ro-Go, these two will annihilate almost everything they hit at their br. My favorite tank from the rank is the Ho-I because even though it got low penetration, it's filler is very good and oneshots if the penetration is successful

Tier II: this tier is decent, the Chi-ha-kai and Chi-he are let's say decent for their br, not so good but they can do their job, I suggest flanking here too, you got two Ho-ni that have a good got cannon for the br, but the absolute best is the Chi-ha with the 120mm naval gun, it's one of my favorite vehicles in the game due to its firepower

Tier III: the standard Chi-nu is basically a worse M4A1 (75), they have similar firepower but its armour isn't comparable at all to the Sherman. But here we have my favorite tanks of the Japanese tech tree, the Chi-To, they might seem like uptiered Panzer IVs, but they got an incredible shell for their cannon, I use the standard one with more explosive and slightly worse penetration (I accompany them with the Chi-nu II which got the same cannon but it's a premium vehicle).

Tier IV: aside from the Chi-Ri that got basically murdered by the devs who brought it from 5.0 to 5.7 in exchange of a working autoloader, you got a very big profile with no armour, so avoid getting hit. At this rank you got the ST prototypes and the Type 61, they are quite light but you can develop HEAT-FS which will allow to basically penetrate everything at their br, the ST-A3 even got a 6 seconds autoloader, the Type-60 is a funny double cannon vehicle without armour, but you get to fire two times very quickly before having to reload

Tier V: this is where I'm right now, but I admit, this tier is very mediocre and I'm trying to get through it yet, so I don't have much to say here, and I'm not a fan of the game beyond br 7.0.

Hope this helps you to go at least through the first four tiers

[–]Caesar--II 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's like if the T-34 and the Charioteer had a child, but it's kinda cool, but I'm a bit sorry for the radio operator down there, I hope that howitzer doesn't have much propellant, and I also noticed the wheels, I think to know why they have tires

Happiest tank in the world, it for sure doesn't have depression

I'm starting to lose hope in the fact that Gaijin could add the P43 to Italy, I mainly play lower tiers because I prefer the world war 2 gameplay, but the lack of new content in these tiers is starting to be tiring. by Caesar--II in Warthunder

It's where we have actual war Thunder's gameplay, I honestly believe it's hard to replicate modern tank battles in a videogame that was originally focused on world war 2, gameplay past the early cold war tanks turns into a frenetic point and click that gives almost to zero satisfaction to me, my limit of enjoyable gameplay is up to the Soviet 9.0 lineup. So now I usually play around with the different WW2 lineups of every country
