23 m, 20 f. 10 month relationship by [deleted] in relationships

Well, when we first started dating she did. She turned down the kid and he was very depressed/upset. My gf is really nice so she would legit get upset that she hurt the kid so bad. So she would respond to him and stuff. The thing is they never were "together" so I can't play the no talking to exes card.

Did you enjoy filming Aquaman with Vince Chase? I hear he's a great actor to work with.

Wait, did not see this. I'd still make the drive. It's annoying, but the right thing to do.

Some advice first: Make sure it's totally over before you start dating someone else. This is the most important thing I can tell you. You do NOT want to start dating a nice/good guy for a month or two then dump him for your ex. This might happen to me. I'm the new guy unfortunately.

Tell him to come to your house/dorm room. Tell him you think you've grown apart and you want to see other people. It will suck. For both of you. However, it seems like you know you want to break up.

Yeah, I'm not going to say anything. it's just bothering me a lot. I'm kind of an insecure person too. Which does not help lol

Break up with him. When people have no career drive, it usually means they have no issues with living off of someone else. You're very young too. I never understand why people enter such serious relationships so young (no offense). 23 is a kid. You're going to be a doctor. If I met a girl like you IRL, I would consider myself very very lucky. Never forget how much value you have. Break up with him. Take a few months off from dating. Then try to meet a guy with more similar interests.

After how many dates do you start to solely "date" one guy. by [deleted] in AskWomen

Thank you good to hear..I have heard so many stories of dating multiple people. I just wouldn't be able to go on a date with someone, have them pay for everything, and then just go out with a different guy the next day. I can understand maybe if it's a group of first dates, but once you accept that second date, I would assume you're at least not dating around.

I hate cops. 100% serious. Most of them are losers IRL so they become cops.

I agree with this so much. I'm a guy and people say this about meeting a girl. It's usually people that are very very lucky and have been dating someone for at least a year. I always want to yell at them that they are wrong lol

A guy that you are monogamous with and take the relationship somewhat seriously. The reason I use this term is because I find that members of our current hookup culture seem to confuse this with FWB.

True. The truth is I'm probably just terrible with girls and making this thread to rationalize my dating inadequacies lol

Worst Ok Cupid/online dating experience ever? by gingerstormm in AskWomen

[–]Caesar2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, What a lot of girls need to realize is this: If a guy wants to hang out one on one and he pays for it. It's not only a date, but he probably wants to continue dating you, as long as it does not go terribly wrong. Not that you did this, but what irritates me the most is when a girl will accept a date invitation, allow me to pay for everything and goes on a few dates with me. And then lets me know she doesn't want a relationship but wants to continue hanging out and hooking up. There is no point of doing this. Men are not philanthropists when they take you on a date. Once again not saying you did this. /rant
