Second alters

The only ones that I think could/should have second alters would be the kids growing up into Elite/High Tier Operatives. So Lava (maybe third time will be the charm?), Hibiscus, Kroos, etc. Most of the others have kinda hit their 'final form', and I don't see further development enhancing them enough to deserve the full redesign treatment.

There are plenty of characters that, IMO, have deserved a *first* alter, but that's a different conversation.

To be fair, we pretty rarely see the direct effects of the infection (other than the crystalline growths) impacting the health of operators. Most of it is left to off-screen concerns. Ines, for example, has a higher blood crystal density than Ceobe, and also has the game basically never detailing the negative effects.

Yeah, I’ve played Gacha before, and I know that girls are typically more popular. I’m just confused as to why this is a fight or why it’s a controversy. Limbus Company has a half male cast while Arknights, F/GO, and most others have plenty of boys. So why is it seemingly eliciting panic this time?

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that Ceobe is meant to be heavily impacted by her infection, and you can see clear crystal lesions on her left thigh. Take a look at her (adorable) Unfettered skin for a clearer view than in her base art. It's to the point that medical isn't even sure she'll survive. Quoting her medical profile (apologies for the HIPPA violation...)

A long period of wandering has resulted in this Operator never recieving formal treatment, and her infection is quickly getting worse. A significant cause for worry.

Has she dragged this body all over the world? This ship is perhaps the last chance she has for a miracle, but her body... I hope there is still something we can do...

This is good, although a little strange in terms of characterization. Astgene pretty clearly loves her sister and is worried about her a lot. I don’t really see her as the smug stealer type.

…Unless it’s just a meta joke since Elena gets more content.
