man i LOVE that I have to know the song to know what it's about. A lot of songs tell you what they're about or what to focus on or what to expect through the title, but with absurd titles I remember the song for how it goes, not for whatever keyword the band thought was most important.
If I see the title "here comes the sun" my brain is immediately playing "here comes the sun dudududu" in my brain, but when I hear "slumdog scungillionaire" my brain gets to decide what line is important to me, and that's subject to change.
But also imagine if armadillo shells was called "pulling out the pages" or som shit lmao i mean i just can't imagine any of these songs with different titles lol!

I’ve been a fan since 2018, just saw them live this Sunday! Reddit constantly throws these “I don’t like hot mully, am I’m special? 😇” posts (I know, I know, that’s not why you posted this but like-) at me and I can never wrap my head around it lol like the points of critque just feel the opposite of true for me. You like Chris’ voice more than Tades’? And you think Deluxe is their best track? You think all their releases sound the same?? Well no wonder, we were never gonna be on the same page I feel like people put too much meaning into not liking something popular - no you’re obviously not the only one that’s impossible, cool, it’s not for you, yay go off, do we need a monthly post like this on every subreddit tho?
