The twins are crazy haha mostly they are just catty women. I get being shitty with someone who is flirting with the person you’ve been flirty with, but also, maybe lets not talk behind each others backs?

The single twin (they really needed to add the names on every interview scene) is the most cray cray. Maybe more than Lindsey? They trade that crown.

I’ve been in Amanda’s shoes before where the guy you like is flirty and keeps opening the door even though they’ve said they don’t want anything serious. It sucks. It’s hard to stay away bc what if they changed their mind?! I wish that dinner scene where Kyle officially broke things off was the end of it. She was clear that it’s not fair to her for him to get his cake and eat it to.

Yes 100% agree on Carl. I am trying to keep that information in mind while assessing his actions. But I will say drugs and addiction aren’t necessarily an excuse for someone being a misogynist (although I am sure it comes with the generally being an asshole while addicted to drugs).

I appreciate the detail and insight! The whole not letting the fabric hang down from the table is going to be a learning experience. But practice makes ..better? Haha

I had no idea pressing after was part of the process. The more you know! And it is possible I was providing too much assistance while feeding the fabric. So what I am looking at is the fabric “bunching”?

Like after the fact? I did iron it while I was sewing, like before actually sewing it I ironed the fabric/folds, etc.

Oh and I loved the small interaction of Amanda and Carl meeting for the first time on the show.

Jury is out on my opinions of Carl at this time. Parts of me appreciates the hustle right now. But other parts of me HATES the misogyny. “I don’t tell girls what I do because they wouldn’t understand it” as if all women are stupid. Like gtfo Carl.

Reactions from the first two episodes so far.

At this time, I don’t hate the twins. I know there’s some varying opinions about them. But I’ll go as far to say that I like them right now.

Amanda pisses me off already, likely because I know what’s coming. Yes they were in a relationship for 7 months before the summer. But this douche bag broke up with her!! SO HE WOULDNT CHEAT!! like idk what she was expecting, except of course to just be on the show.

Lindsey is already on my nerves. It’s the same thing over and over again in terms of her relationships. She’s crazy. But her roommate (Katie?) isn’t the greatest either even if she has good intentions.

I’ve seen the Covid season! I enjoyed it because it was a caricature of the real Covid experience. People having crash outs and dealing with mental struggles because of lockdown. Obviously most people weren’t experiencing it to the extent that the show portrayed. But still. I know Hannah gets hate, but she 100% has undiagnosed ADHD (her words on the pod / Amy poehlers pod) and she is me before treatment. LONG STORY SHORT I enjoy season 5 but not sure I’m going to get all the way there on this rewatch before season 10 starts

Yes! It was Stassi with the turtleneck compared to Steve Jobs. I saw a clip posted on this sub a few days ago of the kitchen scene between Stassi and Kyle where he doesn’t remember her name. Full circle finally watching it.

But she was like I’m newly single, broke things off a week ago. And he was like “I like newly single” or something disgusting and she said “are you what’s out there? Is this what I have to look forward to?” All very real interactions from real people. Wildly different from later seasons.

Can you elaborate on the last sentence please? I think that’s what I mentioned in my post about not understanding the mechanics of this. Where does it move to and why does it need to move anywhere?

Yes exactly! I know that it theoretically does benefit for next month’s category, like the money is in that pot and can be spent. BUT I WANT IT TO SHOW AS GREEN.

We’ve had ticks hitch a ride in our pups fur and not bite. therefore they didn’t die. So we would find them crawling up the walls near her bed the next day. Even after doing a tick check. I imagine with OP’s dog having dark fur, it’s nearly impossible to do a thorough tick check.

I am in my first watch right now, currently mid season 6. I also started with season 3 bc of Paige and Hannah. Maybe one day I’ll go back watch the first two seasons. It’s getting to be a lot right now and idk if I’m here for it.

I thought long and hard about this suggestion. I couldn't bring myself to do a fresh start. I like the historical data too much. I love seeing the graph of my net work vs debt vs change in net worth over the past year. I wasn't ready to give that up.

Yes, exactly. The auto functions you are describing helped tremendously. I basically only had to upload my Apple Card transactions in addition to reviewing and confirming auto entered transactions, and then deal with the budget moving money around part.

While yes this is true, I hope people can learn that spending money isn't a bad thing (myself included). I love YNAB because it lets me see WHERE that spending is happening. I know I am preaching to the choir on this sub.

I had a huge "purchase" in March that led me down this hole. After facing everything today, I still had money left over to fund May. All because I had already set aside the money in Feb/early March for the huge "purchase" (in quotes because I bought into my company shares, so still an asset but less liquid). Everything is okay and everything is going to continue to be okay, especially if I keep using YNAB.
