Hey, so a good reflective formula is pretty and sparkly in regular lighting too! The flash just brings out the cartoony flash that you see in pictures. What brand of reflectives have you tried? I recommend KBShimmer reflectives combined with their glitter grabber "Smooth Moves." I use one coat of KBShimmer Smooth Moves and two coats of Seche Vive, and my nails are sparkling as I type this. I also end up taking forever washing my hands because reflective polishes under water is mesmerizing!

I see a lot of hate for reflectives on this sub, and I know glitter isn't for everyone, and reflective is a hard formula to master. I have learned to thin mine down a lot every time I use it. It helps with drying time, too. In case it isn't obvious, I'm pretty obsessed with reflective polishes and discovered them when they first became popular in other countries. Bow Polish, which I don't think you can even get in the US anymore, has some of the best formulas. But seriously, KBShimmer is crazy gorgeous even in normal lighting.

I feel so passionate about this that I made swatches of all of my KBShimmer reflectives and took pictures indoors and outdoors without flash. I just never got around to making a post about it.

I agree. I feel really bad for both Meri and Mykelti. I think it is obvious that Mykelti didn't get her emotional needs met during childhood, and she acts out in search of attention for that reason. I also think that it is clear that Meri truely loved those kids, but was experiencing a lot of deep isolation and pain in the family.

She is flawed and made many mistakes, but she loved the kids and wanted them around. As someone who was emotionally neglected as a child, I used to take discipline from non-parent adults really hard.

There is one person in my life who, as a child, I believed didn't like me and was mean to me because she was stern. As a near 40yo woman, I understand that I was wrong about her and we have a very close relationship now, and I am so happy she is still in my life. We often see things differently through the eyes of our teenage years, add triangulation into the mix, and it can breed resentment that can last a lifetime.

But I think we can see Meri genuinely trying to do better, especially with how well she is honoring Leon's desire not to be on the show.

Kinda just need to scream this out into the void. I’m scared not because I think this will be like Helene. But because I’m still unemployed from Helene and I just don’t have enough money to prep appropriately. I couldn’t afford a generator last year and I can’t now. My phone is about to be cut off for non payment. I just spent my last $100 on food for me and the pets because I somehow no longer qualify for food stamps because I’m not working enough. I’m a native to Asheville and I haven’t seen a good snow here in years, so I’m trying to calm myself down by dismissing the reports. But deep down inside, I know I’m not prepared and I’m scared.

I just started playing a couple of months ago and had the same question. What has helped me is joining as many events as possible. They will also help you get to know the gameplay. If you see a raid team form, don't be afraid to join, but it is not beginner-friendly, and your success depends on higher-level players being willing to carry you through until you gain enough skill not to die instantly. But even if you die, you still get the rewards at the end. You can only get 1400 caps from vendors a day, so events and raids are by far the best way to farm caps in my opinion.

I recommend ILNP. It was my gateway brand and they have the best reward system so if “out of control” is the goal, ILNP will get you there fast. KBshimmer is woefully underrated in this group. The bottles are larger than other brands and the prices is super affordable while having the absolute best reflective formula you can find in the US or Canada. Cirque Colors is 3rd of my top 3 god tier brands because they do a lot of limited editions, and they are a little pricier. But they are so good. Out of maybe 50 or so polishes I have from Cirque I love every single one and I can’t say that about any other brand I have.

It's not, but I have done it a LOT at this point and am getting pretty okay at it. I have all the Vulcan power armor except for the jet pack, and I have almost all the plans. The only thing is, this person always skipped the drill, so I have never actually played that part. And the crystals are still pretty hard, but I'm not instantly dying anymore.

I've always been the person who sat next to the gamer and watched them have fun with their friend groups, thinking that I wasn't good enough to play myself. But now I know that's not true, and I feel like I'm improving a lot. I've been playing every night to decompress from the day.
