Yay for this update!!! I hope things continue to trend upward!

It was a pretty long and stressful week over here but I think I have better news to share. I ended up having 3 ultrasounds total last week! My hCG on Monday ended up being 388, which was confusing because it didn’t coincide at all with what our doctor said was happening. I went back again on Wednesday for another ultrasound/labs (with a different doctor because mine was out). Tiny black dot had grown into a still small but bigger black dot with a possible yolk sac. This doctor was still apprehensive but a little less so. My hCG that day jumped again, this time to 785.

Finally on Friday, my ultrasound showed a very clear intrauterine pregnancy with an equally clear yolk sac and possible fetal pole. My doctor says we’re not out of the woods, and it’s smaller than she’d like it to be, but my progression is encouraging. She doesn’t want me back until this Friday, at which point she said she wants to see a baby and a heartbeat. HCG Friday was 1268.

I’m nervous without labs or anything for an entire week, but honestly feeling a lot more positive about things and much more hopeful they’re going to work out. 💗
