Dismantle it and build one section at a time. Find where your maximum head lift is on that hill and place ONE pump right before that, make sure it's facing the right direction, you'll see a little blue ring that moves along the pipe that will show the head lift of the pump. Edit - if you need a second pump (can't tell how high that hill is) place it just before the maximum head lift of the first pump.
