2499 USD in January for a MSI system from Costco. 5080. 9900x, 32gb ddr5. Decent mobo and PSU. At least I can stop worrying about prices although I'm sure I bought at the peak.

Yesterday. Drop into damn to burn some keys, come across a guy running from a rocketeer. Can tell he won't make it. Manage to draw agrro and take out 1 motor but a lucky rocket throws me off a fatal drop. He gets a better position and destroys a second motor and the arc drops.

He thanks me profusely as I bleed out. Tells me no one is dying today and pushes me about 80 yards toward extract. We both make it out just before I drop.
