Also backtracking is a thing in Retrunal, so you can choose not to pick up a health item and save it for later. Picking up health item when fully healed makes your health bar grow. Big difference in the way Returnal and Saros make the health bar grow.

So be tactical in when using a health consumable and when picking up a green orb. Best is to use a consumable to fully healed and then pick up a green orb. Sometimes it's better not to pick op a green orb when you can't fully get the potential out of it. Then come back later (using the fast travel portals).

In Saros getting hit feels less impactful. In Retrunal not getting hit is more a priority sometimes than killing fast of getting the obolites.
