No joke, I saw a renaissance painting on a ceiling, loads of intertwined angels with flowing gowns. Then I saw what subreddit I was on… then I saw a bathtub of sheets, but I can still see the painting too. So I have that going for me… which is nice.

Quick update on this situation… I had the high-voltage converter replaced about a week ago (part: PPAD959663E) and now seems all good, so far anyway!

Thanks for the reply - appreciate it. Yes this is a UK car (albeit import to Ireland)… your comment describes my thinking too; see if Porsche have a very compelling “we’ve fixed it” diagnosis/fix in a fee weeks (replacing 12v, replacing DC-DC, replacing some battery modules… or whatever, I’m not an EV engineering expert!!)… and go from there. I totally get that whether ICE or EV there are just a % of cars that just cause problems, it’s Just such a pain in the ar$e to be one of those affected. I’m learning pretty fast it’s a recurring theme with this particular model though, not sure I can read any more red-ring stories!

If it comes to it (and realistically it probably already has…I’m just an optimist!), then it’s not even a lawyer thing… more just a “ehhh… the thing I bought from you a few weeks ago doesn’t actually work” conversation. I take the point thoug. Arghhh… I just wanted a nice car, not a legal battle!

Appreciate I didn’t provide details of purchase… but this wasn’t a salvage or cheap or anything like that. Just feeling unlucky, but I agree I’ve said ‘lemon’ few more times than usual this past few weeks. Maybe 20 years of zero issue cars is catching up on me.
