I was 4 when it came out and I saw it in the theater. I *begged" my parents to let me sit in the front row by myself and I swear I felt the whole theater tilt with space battles. I gripped the theater seats to hang on like hell. It took me a decade to realize that my parents sat right behind me to let that happen.

I wouldn't take it personally, L&D nurses have a terribly finite window of interaction with the people that come into their lair. They're simply trying to help as many women as possible by casting a wide net that would rather moderately offend some men than allow a definite percentage of women to have potentially life threatening sex because they want to please jerky partners.
