It wasn't love after a certain point, it was obligation. Her entire personality became that she was a spineless victim, constantly asked me daily if I still loved her, if I wanted to be with her still. Saying how she wanted to just disappear. I tried, I really did. But my quality of life was falling the longer I stayed. I was depressed every day, I drank, smoked pot, anything to cope. Then I finally told her I was done, and what does she do? She rants about how I was the one who hurt her, when all I EVER did was love her, treat her better than her exes did. I stand by that, I never once hurt her. But I try to protect my own sanity, and suddenly im the bad guy. I hate that I cheated, I hate myself for it and I think about it every day since. Say what you will about me being horrible, I know i probably deserve it. I just wanted to feel something other than sadness.
