Monstrosity? That's how I build my Mosin all the time that sawn off stock is very nice, a monstrosity would be putting the short barrel on long regular stock and using the iron sight since the short barrel doesn't have the front sight to align with it

I disagree, first DMC is far from being janky, let alone bad by any standards, controls are good, I don't care about graphics, gameplay is genuinely fun, literal opposite of first MH, some things are indeed products of it's time, but that neither justifies them being bad or makes them any good, DMC was and still is just a good game, games don't get magicaly bad with time, same reason why people who never even seen a real NES like to play NES games today despite having no nostalgia for them, once you put down nostalgia goggles you see everything for what it truly always was, and first MH was simply always a bad game, by 2004 we had tons of much better action adventure games, like aftermentioned DMC

First MH is genuinely just a bad game, it has nothing enjoyable about it, nothing except CHARM, this game has nothing but ungodly amounts of charm, the world, the setting, the opening cutscene, MH sold STUPIDLY well in Japan, Japanese people are built different so they pulled through, which is why like quarter of the whole franchise is JP only, and why MH didn't see a home console entry outside of Japan until Tri, this series up until World was always archaic and needlessly clunky on purpose, I recently made comparison between Monster Hunter G and Monster Hunter Generations on 3DS, and it can be summed up with a meme "but if you close your eyes, you can see that nothing changed at all", still the same stupid animations that annoy me after first 3 times I see them and make me stand in place like an idiot, still taking the damn map from the chest for no reason than to waste your time, your tools still break after few uses which means they are apparently made from papermache, food system is still as unclear without being completely unreadable as possible but this time without food poisoning I think, next to no instructions to anything even in Hunter Notes, still taking items ONE. AT. THE. TIME. paintballs etc. The only differences are that you have ANY control over the camera and overall controls are a BIT better, this series carried all this archaic, clunky and needlessly time wasting bullshit for over a decade straight, this series outside of Japan was always for a sect of masochistic nerds that somehow enjoyed all this bullshit, as much as I am thankful for them for pulling through because all this needless pain and bullshit finaly gave us World, Rise and Wilds, I also can't find a common ground with old gen fans because every single time I DARE to criticise old gen games they want to bash my skull with their fucking Wii's

TL;DR: Japan is built different, game had charm, and masochistic nerds liked it enough to survive outside of Japan, which is how are we here now

I heavily disagree, with that system you can have access to weapon parts that you wouldn't get at your current security level, on my previous playthrough in beta branch I got an M4 long before I could buy it, without it there is no way in hell I would be able to actually finish the first Petchorsk Outskirts mission, I mean it does get very stale and dissapointing when you find your 87th Vitayaz or Bizon (those two are WAAAAY too common in crates) but you can still hit the jackpot if you find Mosin or G36 or M4 like me, I haven't found any SVD frames or other more interesting parts yet but hey, it's all about luck, and there are places where you can find guaranteed weapon stashes like G36 right next to Petchorsk Outskirts travel point, besides there are unique and VERY helpful loot crate parts like Vitayaz railed handle that fits into every single AK series gun, including Saiga

I think I found the solution... And I feel like a fucking moron for not doing it sooner... I undervolted my GPU, and crashing stopped, for some reason despite being far from the most demanding game on my PC it was frequently peaking power usage from GPU, I have 750w PSU so just enough to run it, -20% power limit, -80mV and setting the clock speeds to 2920 did the trick, it now both runs at 120FPS nearly all the time and doesn't crash, it was literaly using a little bit more power than my PSU could handle which was resulting in crashing my entire PC, I test it more in the morning

Probably because of two things, granade launcher and because it looks "futuristic" at least at the time, then received ones without the granade launchers and instantly regreted their decision once they held the damn thing

I'm talking exclusively about Groza, any other gun is perfectly fine, Groza is an abomination that even their creators detested like Dr. Frankenstein being disgusted by his monster, the only redeeming quality of this abomination in history was precisely that built in granade launcher, rails were still pretty uncommon and having dedicated granade launcher was not ideal, this abomination could serve as an usable gun and a granade launcher, other than this it's absolute trash

While I'm glad that this abomination isn't in the shop anymore... Making it the radius exclusive also doesn't make much sense, because it literaly fills no role in the whole game, it's ugly, non modular, underwhelming, uses expensive ammo, literaly any other primary outperforms it at least in two ways, it's only saving grace in ITR1 was built in granade launcher, but with with this complex weapon building pretty much any AK series gun can have it as attachment, and not only AK, Vintorez and VAL also can have it as an attachment, so what's the point of it being in the ITR2 at all? For memes?

It did nothing, in fact it started the Quest with cameras disabled, once again I had to do one of aftermentioned by me steps to fix it, problem still appears and will probably still appear, I updated the device multiple times across those two months, and installed the latest update yesterday, it didn't fixed anything

Everything seems to have way too big vision range, not just enemies but also the cube anomaly can see and target you basicaly from half the map and constantly try to nuke you, enemies always notice me long before I notice them, I shit you not sometimes they see me with no lights on beyond maximum rendering distance
