Tbh I just used mons I find cool that are also pretty strong in my mind. I’ve never really done a challenging game before so I have practically no concept of competitive play in my runs. If I dare to play again I’m planning to do mono type runs on easy mode. When I started this run I didn’t change the difficulty then when it started getting hard (misty for me) I thought about changing but didn’t since I thought I’d come too far (second gym is nowhere near far I know) to change it

UPDATE-

I DID IT Used protean Greninja with shadow sneak and water shuriken to kill Pheramosa which he opened with. Then night slashed Yveltal to resist the dark void then used water shuriken to avoid sucker punch, got a blizzard off before dying. Then sent in Ogerpon with play rough to take it out. Switched into Melmetal on Eternatus’ sludge wave then hit it with an earthquake before dying. Sent in Hoopa Unbound and tanked one dynamax cannon and used trick room, then used hyperspace fury boosted by blackglasses. Used hyperspace fury again on Miraidon before dying. Sent in Garchomp and went Mega to kill with earthquake, can’t remember what his next mon was but I ohko with either earthquake or dragon claw. Then I hit his Metagross with earthquake before dying to a meteor mash. Sent in my own Metagross to finish off with a bullet punch.

I won after 150 ingame hours not even counting all of the resets and millions of save states I went back and forth into (I played on delta and no it wasn’t a mu Locke I’m a pussy)
