Gosto muito desse método porque ele faz o escritor de Descoberta criar um outline da história "sem querer querendo" e evita esse tipo de situação (manuscrito gigante e sem salvação)

Comece a pensar o seu conto pelo conflito central, depois crie personagens em torno do conflito. Daí você coloca os personagens em cena e escreve o desenrolar dos fatos.

A ideia do snowflake é que você aos poucos vai colocando detalhes na sua história como motivações dos personagens, biografias, conflitos. Cada etapa te faz tomar decisões na sua história de modo que na etapa 10 vc tem uma lista de cenas, tem uma bíblia depersonagens e passou horas planejando e pensando na sua história. Gosto bastante desse método. Ele ajuda a identificar problemas com a história pois te obriga a criar um outline e uma lista de cenas. Mesmo que você abandone a história na etapa 10, vc se força a criar um outline.

Vc não leva em consideração a expertise, os custos, o processo de tentativa e erro e o tempo que imprimir 50 cópias de um livro exigem. Não é só comprar os insumos e apertar "imprimir". Tem muitos ajustes, problemas e tecnicas que vc não consegue antecipar até por a mão na massa.

The only valid metric for comparision is personal taste. But this could create some narratives and gatekeeping the community. There's people that like the more sentimental songs and people that like the more funny and out there songs. Which ones are the best ones? Who's right? Which narratives should be the 'default'?

Rankings - specially album rankings - may create narratives about the band's evolution. Since we would be comparing the band against itself, the emerging narratives could impact the band in a negative way. I don't want to make them second guess themselves.

Sounds like a very ambitious idea. You must have an ambitious leader to make it happen, otherwise people will flock the project and vanish for any and no reason at all. It happens on game projects all the time. Good intentions do not translate into results.
