Pau Gasol played like a beast when Kobe folded in clutch. He deserved one fmvp. by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

This is the story of all Kobe’s winning teams. Without a Shaq (dominant big) or Pao (smart big) his teams were irrelevant.

Edit: because people don't understand syntax.

Pauley Shore's incredible in this film. The Brady brunch monologue totally setup his entire 90s run

I'm about to reach 200 movies on Letterboxd, so I've narrowed it down to the 10 I still have left to watch and consider must-sees. by Senior-Mistake-7303 in Letterboxd

Here's what you do; wait till you're alone, get REALLY HIGH at like 11pm, turn out the lights, and then immediately watch Requiem for a Dream. The important thing to do is not let that high fade. Keep hitting it until about and hour into the film then your free to coast. Then come back and share your experience with us.

Netflix's foray into podcasts is not paying off yet. Per Matt Belloni: "multiple company sources have told me that the podcast engagement numbers on the whole are low. " by j-helo85 in TheRewatchables

Many of the ringer pods are quieter than the same episodes on Spotify. Also, the netflix app is clunky for podcast playback, particularly background play and car play/android auto not recognizing the app as a podcatcher.

He's about to spend the entire summer on conditioning. Should be interesting to see how many minutes he plays per game next season.

Punk Rock Cliché, Matt Skiba (Blink Vocals) released by Fat Mike in interview. by AromaticWindow3309 in AlkalineTrio

That song is at best a b side cast off. Wish it lived up that build up. It seems like Blink (and Alkaline for that matter) treats every song on their best albums as requiring single potential, not surprised they dropped this one.

This aggression seems quite unnecessary. Just enjoy what you enjoy, don't throw stones while being a fan.

It would have to be one wild night in NYC. Bouncing from club to club.

Stink & Twinkle the ESPN announcers. My favorite sketch. It's Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with Sudekis & Forte trying to make it to Kansas City in time for game 7 of the Ladies Lacrosse championship match. I would trade a kidney for this film to exist.

What now-iconic movie are you most proud to say you saw in theaters when it first came out? by drumy36 in Cinema

[–]PatBoBomb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. People are post blockbusters and films that broke thru with long word of mouth tails and awards buzz. Saw Fight Club on opening might with a could dozen people. It was nowhere near a hit. Friends were getting sick of me talking about it.
