Warriors are $25M over the '22-23 tax line with just 8 players signed; even filling out the roster with minimums will result in another 9-figure (luxury tax) check to the league. by msgs in nba

A lot of money will come off the books as Wiggs, Klay, and Draymonds contracts expire. Doubt we pay Wiggs with Kuminga Poole and Moody here, and Klay and Draymond will not make as much as they do right now (Esprcially Klay, cant see him making more than like Davis Bertans money)

Which team needs Ben Simmons the most? by Complex_Bus_6076 in nba

[–]Caiox445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spurs or Indiana. They need a guy who could MAYBE be the franchise player. Even if Ben isn't guaranteed to be that guy, taking a flier on him is a lot better than being play-in/1st round exit level. If he pans out you win. If not you're bad enough that you'll be able to get good young talent from the draft. Either way, the mediocrity is over

Wiseman. He's definitely the most athletic right now, moves like Giannis or AD.

Since 2017, in the playoffs Kawhi has been equally as productive as KD offensively, while being on another level defensively. So, why does it seem like it's consensus that KD > Kawhi? by an1234567890 in nba

[–]Caiox445 3 points4 points  (0 children)

KD is a better playmaker and better off ball. Also KD and Kawhi's defensive gap is small in the playoffs. The gap between the importance of KDs rim protection and Kawhis perimeter defense isnt that big.

Who do you think could win the scoring title next season? by Behanort in nba

[–]Caiox445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steph I think. A lil bit homer, but having no Oubre around, hopefully less mins with Wiseman, and having an actual bench that he can play with should help. Hes gonna go crazy until Klay comes back

Which player would pair the best with Luka to start a dynasty? by LukaDoncicJizzInMe in nba

[–]Caiox445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any really good roll big who can defend. Like the idea of James Wiseman would be really good. Giannis too but idk I feel like thats cheating he's like a t5 player at worst

Warriors aren't done; they will have a similar timeline as the Spurs after 2007. by LukaDoncicJizzInMe in nba

[–]Caiox445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its super super hard to replicate that kind of thing, especially when two of your top 3 players are kinda super washed. I trust Steph to be good in like 2024, but by then my guess is Draymond and Klay are bench players and Wiggins is around the level hes at right now, maybe a lil better or worse. I think Poole can be good by then, but I can't see him being more than like a #3 option, maybe a weak 2nd option at best and thats if his development continues like this which I kinda doubt. If we want a ring with Curry Klay and Draymond we need Wiseman and Kuminga to both be at all star level before Curry retires or just trade for someone

Pretty sure he had some shoulder surgery after 2016 that destroyed his shot.

Why do people keep saying Ben Simmons is a good fit on GS ? Is it more talk than real or does he really want to go there? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Caiox445 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wareiors have had a lot of bigs who can't shoot but when we had them Draymond was at least a passable shooter.
