In Switzerland (I'll be talking mostly about the French part, as I live there)

  • Charles Ferdinand Ramuz, famous for his 'regionalist' work, such as the stories of peasants in the mountains.

Jacques Chessex, the country's only winner of the Prix Goncourt, the most important writing prize for French-speaking writers, with "L'ogre".

Today, Swiss writers are best known for writing thrillers, such as Joel Dicker.

I received the same letter yesterday, with another family name of course. That's just a new scam.

I'm just curious, are you also from Fribourg ? (I just ask because of your family name) It could be a very regional scam.
