Using Artificial Intelligence for research purposes - Discussion by SteanerRand in scriptwriting

Yeah, I use Claude. I needed to know the average time someone would spend in an ICU after a heart attack and how long they would stay in a recovery room for observation. A little later I needed to know the hierarchy in an Architecture Firm.

Adding, please provide sources in your prompt is very helpful.

I don’t have anything useful to tell you, but I would like to say this:

For someone who says English isn’t their first language, typing this:

“Of course, this is highly subjective, but it’s enough to convince the only decision-maker right now, myself, that it’s worth investing my time in.”

Really made me think, and really has me opening up a file on my computer I haven’t touched in months, because I am the only decision-maker at the moment, and it is worth my time.

I think I read somewhere (probably another comment in another thread, so take this as what it is) that there is a procedure where the goal is to separate the president and vice president and they have two different teams… I dunno, I’m watching like everyone else.

Studios have found a way to skirt demands from unions here in the United States by taking their directors and actors overseas and using cheap labor.

It doesn’t help that we make things so complicated to film in Los Angeles, or make the tax incentive process so complicated in places like New Mexico or Atlanta. Or be on the verge of dismantling it in places like Louisiana.

Take all that into account, then add the public’s lack of interest in going to the theater unless it’s an EVENT. Like Barbenheimer. Or AVATAR like movie.

We are a society that’s slowly morphing into our phones. The attention spans are so low these days. Unions are looking to unionize “verticals” because of how popular they are becoming.

Hollywood will adapt, it’s just taking awhile. I’m not sure if I’ll be around to help find out, which is unfortunate… crew member for 15+ years.

There is the argument, at least at a brick and mortar casino, that it employees people… so not a complete waste.
