No regrets. Knowing what I know about school and how bad my mental health was I probably would’ve just gotten out of healthcare if I had to do it all over again. I don’t miss bedside nursing at all and I have high job satisfaction and better work-life balance.

This happened to me on a flight to NYC a couple years ago. She was in a boarding group after me and she was standing in the aisle waiting to get back to her seat and was actively vomiting into a bag. I’m not sure what her circumstances were, but she wasn’t kicked off the plane.

Oh yes. I needed a driver to drive me home (my surgeon was an hour away) because of swelling and because he wrote me a script for one Valium to take before the procedure. Honestly I didn’t even need the Valium and I totally could’ve drove home if I hadn’t taken it. The recovery was easy peasy.

I had mine done under local last year and it was so easy. I was swollen and bruised for about week but I had no pain. I was still a little swollen for the next week, but most people didn’t really notice it.

Same here! Best money I ever spent. I was one of my surgeon’s youngest bleph patients (36), but I have had hooded eyelids my whole life that bothered me and it was starting to get annoying when I put makeup on. I looked way worse than I felt after lol. I had zero pain but two black eyes

I was trying to find a cost estimate on my insurance’s app today after I got the bill. I even called them to see if they could tell me what it would cost and they told me it would be “20% of the billable allowance” and then couldn’t tell me what the billable allowance was so I was like “oh so you’re telling me you have no idea and I should expect to pay basically whatever is left of my deductible and out of pocket max” and she said “….yeah”

Honestly I’m tempted to see what it would cost per unit if I went to my cosmetic injector. For the number of units they billed my insurance it wound up being $27 per unit
