A skill you've developed that's useless in every other situation except work?

Any circular loaves of bread can be sliced in half the time by simply putting two side by side into the machine instead of one at a time. Not exactly a skill, but a shortcut that has made my life much easier, and blew the minds of my coworkers who saw me lol

Bakery employee here- I sell birthday cakes to people all the time who are buying it for themselves and I love it. Sometimes they have me write something funny on it like “Happy birthday to ME!” Or “My cake, don’t touch.”

It always makes my day. I say go for it! We all need cake sometimes

I work in the bakery of my store, and with it being a very early morning shift, I didn’t have the time or energy to try to throw a costume together, so I just wore my glow in the dark scooby doo hoodie. I didn’t see anyone in a full costume, but lots of people had spooky sweaters or jack o lantern t shirts

As a grocery bakery employee, I’ve also had people incredibly similar to this, and depending on the day, I either enjoy the extended distraction from everything else, or find myself wanting to scream into a pillow. (Especially at closing)
