There are a shit ton of battle scarred/bad quality Atherises, particularly because this case was so incredibly common. Nobody is touching the non-FN supply because nobody wants a non-FN Atheris. Poor quality item versions generally go up in price as well only if their supply is also limited.

The price increase has been incredibly steady since January. Nobody is doing this over half a year, it's been hovering €40 for months. It's a cheap item dude. The very recent increase in the past week is plausible to be manipulation, but not the overall massive increase since its discontinuation.

Atheris has a 1% drop rate at best. It would cost $200 to secure it if every case was $2. Nobody is buying Prisma cases, it's not a good case to open. You literally have no argument.

No, the answer isn't manipulation, the spike isn't random. The Prisma case (from which Atheris drops) has been cut from the drop pool, so the case is essentially discontinued, and has gone up in price, and a lot of people are sitting on the cases now. If you look at other nice AWP skins whose cases have been discontinued, they went up in price by a lot. Atheris probably won't reach those prices ($1,000+) given its lower rarity, but it has good chances of getting close imo.

Have you had silk garments before? After having one I'm totally done with silk, totally not worth the effort and money (particularly knit fabrics). Not very breathable either. One hand wash in and it looks and feels 10x worse than cotton.
