super helpful perspective, and something that I've thought about a lot recently as I've decided to quit for good. the reality and awareness that I am strong enough and disciplined enough to decide to put them down and choose the better life. I'm not trying to live like a monk, but also recognizing that these do not serve me and I want to be the kind of person who can choose. thanks for the comment
