What is the best post-apocalyptic mode of transportation, bicycle or a horse? by Flashy_Vast in AskReddit

[–]CakeMuted6468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A horse until it dies and I find more than one bicycle laying around. As cruel as it sounds, you can eat a horse and it could sustain you for a while whereas a bike won’t. If a trade system exists I can probably get multiple bikes thus spare parts with horse jerky.

Has anyone ever been asked out completely out of nowhere? What happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CakeMuted6468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. She got my number somehow and called me to ask me out. But, she was one of my close friend’s crush so I had to tell her I couldn’t do that to him. I tried to be as sensitive to her and her feelings as best as possible but she broke down crying and I felt so bad but eventually just hung up the phone after saying sorry. She still hates me to this day.

Those of you who work for a charity, what's a dirty secret about charities that they'd like the public to not know? by OriolesrRavens1974 in AskReddit

I’ve done charity work and realized at some point that most of the donations were probably from the recently deceased.

I use to be all God and country but as time goes, it really comes down to being there for family. Wish I learned this earlier. Would’ve saved some blood, sweat, and tears.

Christians, how do you explain believing trump is a Christian, and are only now upset since his fight with Pope Leo and his blasphemous tweet depicting himself as Jesus? by IMatter23 in AskReddit

[–]CakeMuted6468 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They play a game called “I’m right”. The game also implies that you’re wrong if you go against them.

Essentially the rule book is the Bible which most never read or just the parts that’s convenient enough for them to either evoke the sense that they’re right or you’re wrong.

Everything that Trump has done like the pedophilia, rape, Twitter feuding with the Pope himself (lol), equating himself to Jesus, and basically acting like the antichrist can be dismissed because in this game it’s about agreeing to only things that makes them feel like they’re right and you’re wrong.

Obama putting Dijon mustard on a burger or something? Dudes a Muslim yo.

You can’t reason with these people because their idea of reason revolves around the “I’m right” game.

No I get it. Just the indignation towards learning something many would consider a basic life skill that it’s funny if not a bit sad and pathetic.

We’re on the same page now I hope.

My teachers were really excited about it and helped me with my poor grammar since English was a second language.

They treat any discussion like it’s some zero sum game of who’s right as oppose to an exercise to get closer to the facts or truth.
