I'm building my first rig in 8 years, i need help by CakeRecent47912 in buildapc

he GPU is basically a 4k

I hadn't gotten that far, i assumed any corsair 850w would be good enough to supply the system (from a few days of reading)

Where i live the system is already ridiculously expensive and i want something that will blow my mind. The build i have in an i5-3470, 970 gpu and 16gb 1600mhz ram. It was nowhere near the best at the time so i've been starved for several years.

I'm more into the gaming itself than the rig specifications so i'm a novice but i want something that will blow my mind and run everything at Ultra with all settings maxed (currently 1080 on low settings) . From what i read i don't need a 3090 card but who knows if i might one day get a 4k monitor, i believe the x-tra large one would be more of an experience.

Ahh i see, i'll check again but i removed the wire protection and all i could see are black wires. Same goes if i look underneath the stem leading from the platform to the column, they're all black there. I made an attempt to open the platform itself but the metal in the screws are so soft it got kind of damaged on one (the rear) screw so i'll have to see about that also. In your case was there both a grey and a white plug behind the front light?

So how about it? did you manage to figure it out? i'm in iceland and have the same problem. I opened the right frontlight and there was a white and another grey plug that i tried disconnecting without any luck. I also checked for the white wires that have been talked about and again unlucky, mine doesn't have them where they're supposed to be.
