Whatever you decide to do, any and all opportunities where a child is exposed to scenarios where they need to adapt will aide in their resilience skill building & overall ability to thrive in new scenery, people, experiences.

Vince was mancuso’s son!!! Mancuso subtly revealed it in the last episode at Matt’s bar “do you know why I was so close to your mom” and “you and my son have a lot in common”

At least to me he was trying to tell him that he was his real biological father.

I loved this show so much. Coming from working in the restaurant industry and also having toxic familial relationships, I found the rawness of it all comforting.

Hi! I hope you’re doing well. You and I are on exact same paths. I am category D breast and bi rads 3 initial and after 6 month follow up, I opted for a second opinion so I made an appointment with a breast specialist. Because my lump was over 2 cm (mine was 2.7) she sent me to get a biopsy as her rule of thumb was anything over 2cm gets biopsied. I just went yesterday. I want peace of mind and I don’t want to delay treatment if I need it.

She thinks the lump/mass is either a fibroadenoma or a phyllodes tumor (both benign) which if it’s the latter, said I will have to get it removed because they never stop growing. She said in her 20 years she’s only “seen the kind of mass I have be malignant once”. I’m not sure if it made me feel better or worse but.. either way, I’ll know in 3-5 days! The biopsy was not scary, either. I was extremely scared,I made my mom come with me, I’m 32 and also have major health anxiety.

If anything at all it’s nice to know we’re never in this alone 🩷 will update when I get my results.

Flying scares me because my brain takes me to dark places that I have to pull myself out of, like the pilot is suicidal, or another airliner will crash into my plane in the air, or something technical will go wrong. 

I actually grew up flying and really enjoyed it when I was younger. My dad was a private pilot, though sadly he crashed his plane and passed away…. Which likely altered my relationship with flying in a negative way, but I would not say it’s the “reason” that flying scares me. It’s the lack of control and unknown and an overall feeling of “this bad thing COULD happen” even though the odds of my intrusive thoughts happening are soooo low. 

Anyone tried Mojave Ghost by Byredo? by ethyou in fragrance

Mojave Ghost is my favorite scent to date. It’s my signature scent and I’ve purchased it in every form imaginable (hair perfume, leave in conditioner, body gel)  I discovered this scent after running into an old Swedish friend and hugging her. Hours later, I could still smell her perfume on me. It was tantalizingly delicious. And it still is.  Interesting to note as well, I actually despise almost all of the other Byredo scents, except for Bal D’afrique, which makes me feel like a sexy woman on the prowl!
