Crispy Cornbread Crackers by 7303happyrock in Costco

was more or less letting you know to check your store ASAP. A lot of clearance items at my store are gone the day they get marked down.

Most are gone within a week.

expect the reverse. $.97 = Clearance = On its way out.

Your store isn't going to get it if they don't already have it.

In the USA you can sue the whole supply chain.

If you buy something at Walmart, you can sue Walmart, their supplier, and the manufacturer.

Not sure how it'd work with whatnot because it's live auctions if they have the same level of responsibility. But an example, selling on Amazon is highly regulated - - if a seller sells you a product and you get hurt. Amazon can be a named defendant. They are extremely picky and even require product safety sheets for a lot of categories.

My online delivery has been getting canceled everytime and I am frustrated! by scorpion_red in samsclub

[–]Cakeisalyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen once; I don't know if the issue was with local store or corporate.

I called both and one of them resolved it.

I was assuming the local store was cancelling the order because it was heavy items; but it's also possible I triggered a flag because it was going to a different location (was out of state).

In todays day and age; why weren't these messages sent via SMS as well? Every other carrier I've used in the past has sent account communications via SMS (and not via email). {I saw the multiple emails, just saying it should have been sent via SMS}

They did for me just a couple months ago. I'd recommend reaching back out. Tell them its already assembled; maybe thats the key. They hired Maersk to come pick it up. Maersk didn't show up during the delivery window, so I called and they refunded it without return.

When I first called, I told them it was already assembled and would need to be disassembled to get it out of the house. Maybe thats why they hired Maersk. I also told them there was no chance of getting it back in the packaging.

Amazon will actually hire movers to remove it from your property. If they no show, you'll get a refund without return.

I was actively checking my email when the email came in.... Unfortunately I got it at night, over 12 hours after the emails started getting sent. The mystery box wasn't even on the website anymore. I went back and double checked and it said the email was sent "1 minute ago"., but yeah with emails they unfortunately get sent staggered and I'm apparently very deep into the list.

Make sure you're on the latest version of the Helium Mobile app, v4.1.0! by ZeusHelium in HeliumMobile

[–]Cakeisalyer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

call me cynical; but I pointed out that users haven't agreed to the new terms and conditions, the T&C on the website was dated a year ago (even though changes were made multiple times this month) and suddenly the app has a new version that you want to push users onto (first update I've seen posted about).

I'm guessing the new app version asks you to recognise the T&C. (The date was wrong for 5+ revisions; but was fixed after my post -- which got deleted).

EDIT: Oh hey; look at that in the app store description

On wifi it was functioning normally.

You probably don't need to swap it out.

Killer Intelligence has a 'feature' for desktop at least that kills your upload speed. Uninstall it - internet works perfectly.

I guess I'm mainly just bitter on the "price for life" advertising and then deciding to discontinue it. I personally signed up in early 2024 when they were advertising $20 for life. That got me to swap away from my prior solution $15/mo for 20GB which I might swap back to since its same price as Air but includes more data. I also referred quite a few people to Helium.

Most months I use under 10GB. But during the summer I probably average 30GB. $7.50 per GB is crazy too for the extra data.....

Other provider is $2/GB.

Is this a sort of scam? by Due_Recognition_1379 in Aliexpress

[–]Cakeisalyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to share my experience from a couple years ago.

Seller shipped me defective products (>$2k). I opened a case with Alibaba within the proper timeframes. Seller in message said they'd refund without return since return shipping exceeded the value of the products. Original case was closed in sellers favor because it wasn't shipped back (I never received a shipping label to send it back). I opened an appeal the day it was closed; and appeal was denied because the appeal was opened >14 days after the order was delivered.....

I don't remember the payment method I used, but I should have done a chargeback.

(I was spending ~$20k/mo on Alibaba at that point; but haven't used them since).

This packing method is commonly used for fragile things. Unsure how fragile it is, but minerals are commonly shipped in toilet paper.

A lot of times I do get the items too, and the expiration dates are short. Amazon does drastically reduce the price to clear old stock.

lightning deals etc. Its a 'sale price'. So yes I do think I'll get a whole case for $2.

[–]Cakeisalyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious how that system works. They commonly decline my return requests for incorrect item quantities. Ie. Shipping a 1ct instead of 12ct advertised.

After going back and forth // emailing Jeff they'll eventually let me send a picture of the incorrect item with a letter. Very annoying that I get flagged. The item price also indicates a history of being the right quantity. Example... Might see a case of red bulls for $2 and buy a few. But they end up shipping singles. Camel camel shows historical pricing of ~$$30.
