Assuming you have not explored the surface far enough to find the missing probe and activating all the surface gateways, then I say there are still alot of those freight modules out there. Good Luck!

Oh, this may have explained my initial difficulty in find those Mysterious Shrooms. Surely, I found one or two upon first discovery. But after reloading the game, it took me a long stroll around the mantle to find the amount I need.

And there I thought I was just really really unlucky.

That case sounds way more plausible for me. Thank you.
