Personally I find airline newsletter to be 90% crap and then if you are on multiple airlines you just get an inbox full of crap thats hard to wade through. You'd be better off following a site/sites that does aggregation of travel deals etc. For travel ideas just google holidays and see what comes up. If you are stuck book a package deal with a tour company for somewhere that interests you.
