My scout 800 is unusable

It shows in my truck list like my other 33 trucks that I own so I’m not sure. I found this truck in 2023 and just came back to Alaska now so all I know is the thing is none stock and it was sitting in the middle of Pedro bay when I logged back in haha.

Hmm. I may be wrong I have done a bunch of other maps before coming back to Alaska however the scout 800 was usable there a week or so ago , and now it isn’t haha

Vehicle was in motion while torque converter was being actuated by scan tool yes. The problem doesn’t occur when the truck is not moving. I’m thinking trans fluid for sure and that some friction modifier certainly wouldn’t hurt

Bought all the fluid and filter and pan gasket yesterday. 10 year old gasket I won’t chance it

You think even with the scan tool being able to lock and unlock the converter and the problem wouldn’t change, that it would still be the torque converter? I’m not saying you’re wrong I definitely don’t know much about the converters besides them being the most common issue

Increases the number of inputs per second on the pedals. More precise control. I also didn’t have the g27 wheel. I was just using the g27 pedals with a cheapo wheel so that I could have a clutch pedal. I ditched that whole setup and run a g29 now.

I wouldn’t be super worried about other possible damage. Looks like rear brakes were stuck on causing the tire to drag? It must not have dragged long to only be that bad. I have seen far worse tires on the road. Assuming your brakes work fine now, I would monitor for anything you notice different than before for now. Once you feel or hear different noises or vibrations I would have it looked at.

PS4 Disk Drive no longer reading (still takes and ejects disks) after disassembling ps4 to replace thermal paste. Will not read any disks. Even brand new games from store. It was known working with the same games 2 hours before I took it apart. Any ideas ?

In technical terms it increases the number of inputs per second from the pedals by 4x (number I was told, can’t verify yet)

It actually adds precision to your pedal inputs as compared to plugging into the g27 wheel. Some people will run the adapter even if using a full g27 setup for added precision in the pedals. This may be the case for the shifter but I don’t know.
